Natalie Kenly Defends Charlie Sheen HIV Confession As Jenny McCarthy & Bree Olson Slam: Legal Battles For Sheen?

Natalie Kenly resided with Charlie Sheen four years ago. Although that was around the time the actor allegedly contracted HIV, Natalie is determined to stand by the man. Kenly says she has a unique perspective in knowing Charlie as a person rather than a famous celebrity, and as a result she feels Sheen is unfairly being attacked by some of his past “goddesses,” reported Entertainment Tonight.

“I knew Charlie as the man, and not the myth or the legend,” Kenly confided to ET. “Charlie didn’t pay me to keep quiet about his HIV diagnosis or anything else. I was tested. I’ve been tested several times since then, and I also don’t believe I was around when he was diagnosed or contracted the virus.”

In 2011, Sheen contracted HIV, and Natalie belonged to the Sheen group known as his “goddesses.” Now residing in the Midwest with a daughter and partner, Kenly stands mainly alone in defending Charlie Sheen since he revealed the news that he is HIV positive.

In contrast, Bree Olson slammed Sheen because she said he did not disclose his HIV diagnosis to her.

“Sleeping together every single night [but he] never said anything,” summed up Olson on the reason for her anger.

“I can definitely say that my recollections at the time are greatly different than the ones that she has mentioned,” disagreed Kenly.

And, these exes aren’t the only ones to step forward in the wake of Charlie Sheen’s revelation about being HIV positive. Cassandra Cruz says that Sheen did not use a condom when they had sex in 2012, and that she did not learn that he was HIV positive until the following year. Trial attorney Lisa Bloom is currently representing Cruz as she considers legal alternatives.

“The way it was disclosed to her was in a way that persuaded her to believe it was safe to have unprotected sex,” explained Bloom.

However, in his discussion with Matt Lauer, Sheen claimed that all of the individuals with whom he had sex after he was diagnosed were aware that he was HIV positive. Charlie termed it “impossible” that he might have somehow transmitted the condition to someone else.

“We have no investigations against Charlie Sheen,” stated the LAPD.

However, it still is possible that civil lawsuits could be filed. Among the others addressing Sheen’s HIV positive confession is Jenny McCarthy, noted Radar Online.

Jenny McCarthy had the role of portraying the romantic partner of Charlie Sheen on Two And A Half Men. And, McCarthy said it’s extremely significant that Sheen failed to tell her that he was HIV-positive while she worked closely with him on the show.

“Now being on Two and a Half Men myself, I feel like in playing a love interest, you would think there would be some type of — I don’t want to say criminal issue — but I don’t even know how to feel about that,” revealed the 43-year-old actress and talk show host on her SiriusXM show.

McCarthy worked with Sheen between 2007 and 2011 on Two And A Half Men. Discussing how she felt when she learned that Charlie Sheen had shared that he has struggled with the HIV virus for years, McCarthy described her shock that she had to disclose her own health issues while he could hide his diagnosis. For example, Jenny McCarthy was forced to sign a release concerning cold sores.

“I was like, ‘Wait a second, if I have to be upfront about a herpe, how could you not be upfront about HIV?” demanded McCarthy. “I look back and I’m like, ‘OK, that would have been some valuable information.’ I mean, look how many people have played his love interest on the show.”

Although McCarthy is sympathetic regarding Sheen’s illness, she still is angry about what she sees as a lack of accountability.

“[Charlie is] sick and it’s awful, but man he’s going to have to take some major accountability with many people in his life,” added McCarthy.

As the mother of a son, Evan, Jenny McCarthy also revealed that before getting married to Donnie Wahlberg, she did not have sex with boyfriends until they had been tested for HIV.

“I said to myself, ‘There is nothing I want to do that would be dumb enough to get any type of disease. I have to live forever for my kid.’ So I wouldn’t sleep with anyone until I got the right paperwork…So even playing [Sheen’s] love interest on the show back in the day, I go like, ‘Ick, ugh, that’s not fair and scary.'”
