Miley Cyrus Kicks Off Dead Petz Tour With Fake Breasts And A Spiraled Strap-On

Miley Cyrus kicked off her Dead Petz tour with her usual fanfare, as she debuted her first concert in Chicago on Thursday night.

Miley Cyrus appeared on stage adorned in an outfit bold enough to embarrass most adults, proving, once again, that Miley is no longer suitable for the pre-teen fans that buy her music – if ever she was.

Miley Cyrus Makes A Statement With Her Spiraled Dildo And Fake Breasts

Miley Cyrus was a sight to behold from her thigh-high boots, her S&M bondage top – which also happened to encompass overly enlarged fake breasts – to Miley’s Pièce de résistance: a strap-on dildo. The dildo, a massive, spiraled projectile, pointed the way, as Miley danced and gyrated herself out on stage.

At first glance, the outfit, topped off by a wig resembling the hairstyle worn by David Bowie during his Labyrinth days, would seem to be just more of Miley’s antics. Stunts designed to shock audiences and offend the parents of her fans. As the imagery begins to sink in and one is given the time to consider its impact, it becomes apparent that Miley is possibly attempting to make a statement with such an outlandish outfit.

The combination of both male and female prosthetics worn by Miley during her premiere Dead Petz concert may very well have been a nod to the transgender community. While People magazine suggests this imagery to have been a more specific nod to the practice of “packing” employed by female-to-male transgenders, it seems more likely that Cyrus was showing her support of transgenders on a wider scale.

Either way, it seems Miley Cyrus was eager to lend the power of her own celebrity to the aid of transgender issues in general, while performing for fans her new Dead Petz album.

Miley Cyrus Gives Dead Petz Fans Their Money’s Worth

Wild outfits aside, Miley Cyrus, once again, proved that she was all business when it came time to give fans what they paid money to see – her performing every track from the her newest album, Dead Petz. Miley closed out the concert with “We Can’t Stop.” The Dead Petz concert tour will continue with Miley’s next stop scheduled for Detroit.

Opening up for Miley Cyrus was Wayne Coyne and the Flaming Lips, who Miley acknowledged and endorsed with genuine good will when she mentioned her Dead Petz tour during an interview with Jimmy Fallon.

“I’m going to go on tour later this year, me and the Lips,” Miley Cyrus said, according to Entertainment Weekly.

For all of Miley’s on-stage antics, it was the music that really touched fans and critics alike. While costume changes had Miley appearing as a big, yellow sun or in a fat baby suit, it was the singer’s unique voice that enthralled audiences more than anything else that might have been witnessed or heard on the stage that night.

“…the moments of transcendence were when Cyrus was on her own, less concerned about us: at the piano, howling a eulogy for her departed fish; doubled over, screaming “What does it mean?!” at the floor; or the moment when she ripped off her fake dreads in f–k-this-shit earnestness. It suddenly felt like this is the Miley we’ve been waiting for — or rather, the Miley we really deserve.” – Rolling Stone

There’s no telling what variations Miley Cyrus might implement, as she carries on with her Dead Petz tour, but one thing is certainly true: there will be more headlines, more shock, and more surprises coming for as long as Miley is on tour.
