Teresa Giudice Memoir Details And Cover Photo: ‘RHONJ’ Book Debuts After Prison Release

Teresa Giudice will be released from the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Connecticut, on December 23, and a short time later, fans will get to hear all about The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s time behind bars.

According to a new report, details regarding Teresa Giudice’s 2016 memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, have been released, offering fans a sneak peek at what is to come.

On November 20, Bravo’s The Daily Dish revealed an excerpt from a press release, which claimed Teresa Giudice’s tell-all book will give a “behind-the-scenes look at life in prison, her marriage, her rise to fame, the importance of her family, and the reality TV franchise that made her a household name in her explosive and ultimately uplifting first-ever memoir.”

“People think they know everything about me… but they don’t. Not even close,” Teresa Giudice said in a statement about the book. “The world will see a new Teresa. A different Teresa. Well, actually, the Teresa I always was.”

A portion of Teresa Giudice’s Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again will take a look at the “memorable moments of her prison stay, including the cringe-inducing fistfights she witnessed, the awkward conundrum of being trapped when a fellow inmate had a…guest…over, and the strength she found while confined between four concrete walls.”

In her book, Teresa Giudice will not reveal details about her prison time, but also include moments from her early life.

Over one year ago, Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, were each sentenced to prison time after pleading guilty to a number of charges of bank and wire fraud. While Teresa Giudice received a 15-month prison term at the time, she will have served just under 12 months, when she is released next month. Meanwhile, Joe is headed for a 41-month term, which may or may not be reduced.

In addition to her upcoming book release, Teresa Giudice is expected to return to her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars for filming on season 7 upon her release from prison. While Bravo has stayed mum on casting for the upcoming season, there have been multiple reports claiming Teresa Giudice is expected back. In August, Us Weekly reported news of Teresa Guidice’s season 7 return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, claiming she’d be back without question.

“She’s definitely back next season,” a source told the magazine.

The report also revealed Teresa Giudice was working on her memoir, which they revealed would include details “about prison fights, what she’s eating, and more.”

“She’s all set to profit off her prison stint,” says another insider.

The insider also made it clear that without Teresa Giudice, Bravo wouldn’t have much of a show.

“There is no Jersey without [Teresa Giudice].”

As for who will be joining Teresa Giudice for season 7, it’s hard to say at this point. However, one person who will not be included in the new installment is Amber Marchese, who appeared for the first time on the series’ sixth season.

On November 10, Marchese made her exit from the show official with a statement to Us Weekly.

“Jim and I have been giving Real Housewives of New Jersey a lot of thought and given the current state of affairs regarding our personal lives and the direction of the show, we officially decided to move on. The show was not what we expected it to be, and I want to pursue more endeavors.”

Teresa Giudice’s memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, will be released on February 9, 2016.
