Are Kylie Jenner And Boyfriend Tyga Getting Engaged? His 26th Birthday Plans Revealed

Is Kylie Jenner about to get engaged to her boyfriend, rapper Tyga? Although the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is just 18 years old, a new report claims her older boyfriend is ready to make her his fiancée — and he’d love to propose during his upcoming birthday celebration in Los Angeles.

“Tyga’s turning 26 tomorrow and it’s going to be one hell of a night at 1Oak in L.A.,” a source revealed to Hollywood Life on November 19, “and while that’s going to be a blast of a night for him, he’d much rather be putting a ring on [Kylie Jenner]’s finger, in front of all his family and friends, on his special day.”

Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend have been linked romantically for years, but it wasn’t until Kylie Jenner turned 18 earlier this year that they actually went public. For years, Tyga faced backlash online, from fans and his son’s mother, Blac Chyna, over his allegedly inappropriate relationship with Kylie Jenner when she was underage, but now that she’s a legal adult, they’ve been extremely public with their romance, attending events together and sharing photos of one another on social media.

As for why Tyga suddenly decided to propose, the source claimed, “He’s getting older and with age comes wisdom and he knows [Kylie Jenner]’s the one for him. He knows he wants to spend the rest of his life with [Kylie Jenner].”

“He loves [Kylie Jenner] tremendously but doesn’t want to force the issue. He knows she’s not ready and they already have a good thing going and he doesn’t want to mess that up. Everyone will be there tomorrow to help him bring in his 26th but he wants to do something special for [Kylie Jenner] and make the night about her, too. He’s even thinking of getting her a little special promise ring — just to let her know that the big question is on his mind.”

Kylie Jenner’s possible engagement to Tyga has been speculated upon since earlier this week, when a source told E! News the rapper intended to marry the reality star. At the time, a source told the site the couple has already discussed getting married down the road, when Kyllie Jenner is a bit older.

The source went on to claim the couple was in a great place in their relationship, and not planning to rush into anything quite yet. That said, Tyga was said to be completely head over heels in love with Kylie Jenner, and willing to do absolutely anything for her.

Although engagement talk surfaced this week, it isn’t the very first time Kylie Jenner has been rumored to be engaged to her rapper boyfriend. In fact, Kylie Jenner has been battling engagement rumors for nearly a year! Back in 2014, Kylie Jenner responded to rumors, which alleged she’d soon be walking down the aisle — even though she was only 17 years old at the time and hadn’t yet confirmed she was dating Tyga.

Prior to a second tweet, which also denied she was headed down the aisle, Kylie Jenner made the cover of Life & Style magazine, which alleged she was going to be a “Teen Bride.”
