New World Record – 2,510 Smurfs gathered in one place

2,510 people dressed as Smurfs set a new world record last week for the most smurfs gathered in one place.

The Welsh city of Swansea hosted the event, planned and organized by costume seller Jokers’ Masquerade and it took until 1am in the morning to check over all the entrants to verify that there was no natural skin color showing.

The record was previously held by the town of Castleblayney in County Monaghan, Ireland, which recorded 1,253 Smurfs gathered in the high street last year.

We’re betting that with all the rain they’ve been getting in the UK lately, after these people went outside the streets were a cool shade of blue the next morning.

    Well I guess this is a world record, right? Hehe, Looking at those smurfs takes my stress away. Anyway did you know what is National Leave Work Early Day? Last June 2, this National Leave Work Early Day was proclaimed. No one knows just who cooked up National Leave Work Early Day, and it sounds like someone made it up to get out of work and it spread from there. However, it has spread like wildfire. Laura Stack, author of “Leave the Office Earlier” advocates checking out as soon as possible to maximize the work/life balance, for anyone, whether they’re doctors, lawyers, or payday lenders. June 2nd is also National Bubba Day, and Yell “Fudge” at Cobras in North America Day. (Odd as cobras isn’t native to North America.) Let us hope that no needs fast payday loans as a result of participation in National Leave Work Early Day. I bet you didn’t know about this.
