Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Reunite For Love: Miley Helps Liam Adopt
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth recently reunited, and the exes’ reunion had a very happy ending: a wagging tail.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth spent nearly five years together as one of Hollywood’s hottest young couples after meeting on the set of The Last Song. The former Disney princess and The Hunger Games hottie decided to call off their engagement in 2013, but it looks like the exes are still on excellent terms — Miley Cyrus recently helped Liam expand his family by aiding him in the pet adoption process.
According to MTV News, Liam Hemsworth recently did a little dog shopping at Wylder’s Holistic Pet Center in Los Angeles. The actor decided that he needed a dog lover’s expertise while he was in the process of choosing the perfect furry companion, so he reached out to his animal-obsessed ex. Miley Cyrus helped Liam pick a new pet, and it looks like she decided that Liam needs to get a workout whenever he walks his dog — Miley matched her ex with a very large fluffy white puppy with a bit of blue-gray coloring on his face.
“Thanks @mileycyrus for loving dogs as much as we do!!” the Instagram post read. “You helped find this gigantic, 6 month old puppy a new home. @liamhemsworth you will give this deserving baby a great life!”
In post on his Instagram page, Liam Hemsworth revealed that he decided to name the gorgeous new gal in his life Dora the Explorer.
“New ‘gigantic’ rescue pup! Dora the Explorer. #rescuedog!” he captioned the photo below.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are obviously on good terms and share a love of animals, so maybe there’s a chance that they’ll start dating again. To add fuel to the dating rumor fire, Liam did recently admit that he’ll always have feelings for Miley.
“I mean, look—we were together five years, so I don’t think those feelings will ever change,” Liam said during an interview for the November issue of Men’s Fitness. “And that’s good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn’t just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be.”
In April of this year, a source close to Miley Cyrus told People that the exes still stay in touch via text and that they socialize whenever they bump into each other in L.A. However, the source also said that Miley is happily single and that she and Liam are just good friends.
According to MTV News, Miley and Liam broke up and got back together multiple times during their half-decade-long romance. They got engaged on May 31, 2012, and called it quits for good on September 16, 2013. A month later, Miley Cyrus told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that she was enjoying the single life.
“I keep saying I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and that’s not even a dig,” Miley said, according to E! News. “That’s just me, because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself, which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are. I’ve never been able to just be alone, and I’m obsessed with being alone and like hearing my thoughts.”
However, Miley Cyrus would eventually get back into the dating game. As the Inquisitr previously reported, one of her post-Liam romances was a fling with Patrick Schwarzenegger that lasted a few months. And earlier this year, there were rumors that Miley Cyrus rebounded from Schwarzenegger by hooking up with Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell.
