Kourtney Kardashian: Scott Disick’s Plan To Get Her Back, Source Says Kourtney Drives Him ‘Crazy’

There’s no shortage of fans and media members who like to speculate about the relationship between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, and in recent weeks, much of that speculation has leaned toward reconciliation.

On Monday, People magazine threw their voice into the mix, reporting that a source has exclusively told People about Scott Disick’s plan to win Kourtney Kardashian back.

“It drives him crazy that Kourtney has been seen out having a blast, so he’s determined to get her focus back on him. He’s planning on doing this by showing her that he’s capable of pulling it all together.”

If the source is to be believed, Scott wants to refocus Kourtney’s attention on him for more than one reason: Scott also wants to prove that he can be trustworthy so that he can continue his relationship with his children, the source told People.

“Scott’s really trying to pull it together for the sake of saving his relationship with his kids. He knows that they are getting to an age where they are going to start understanding what is really going on behind closed doors, and he doesn’t want them to resent him for setting a bad example. Kourtney is really helping him see that, and it makes Scott wants to change his partying ways.”

The self-proclaimed Lord and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star have three children together: Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 11 months.

Scott and Kourtney were together for more than nine years — often times tied up in a tumultuous relationship — before they split in July. At the time, Kourtney Kardashian split from Scott Disick after compromising photos surfaced of Scott cuddled up with ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli. The photos of Disick and Bartoli were taken in the south of France.

At the time, Disick’s actions were attributed to a drug-and-alcohol fueled bender. Scott has struggled with alcohol and substance abuse, which has been depicted on KUWTK.

Immediately after the split, Scott appeared to go on another bender, partying across North America with all kinds of women, but he’s since begun to clean up his act. Disick reported for rehab in October and is reportedly still going through the rehabilitation process. Disick checked into the treatment facility around the same time the Kardashian family learned of Lamar Odom’s alleged drug overdose.

Scott’s current stint in treatment marks (at least) the fourth rehab stay for the 32-year-old in the past year. Disick has a history of checking into treatment facilities and leaving rather quickly, but reports indicate that Disick has stayed at the current Malibu treatment facility for more than 30 days. If that’s the case, many believe that the current rehab stay could be Disick’s most honest attempt at rehabilitating himself to date.

While Disick has been in rehab, Kardashian has been enjoying life, if her Instagram feed is any indication. Since she split from Scott, Kourtney has gone hiking with friends, gotten into fantastic physical condition, and of course, spent plenty of time with her children.

Kardashian also was spotted dancing with a “mystery man” at sister Kendall Jenner’s birthday party — confirmed by a photo that Kardashian herself posted to Instagram. It turns out that the man in the photo is longtime Kardashain stylist Scott Cunha, but still, Kourtney certainly seems to be enjoying herself. Perhaps the photo added to what People‘s source calls the “crazy” feelings Scott Disick has when he sees Kourtney having so much fun.
