Josh Duggar Not Sorry For Cheating, Exits Rehab? Anna Defies ‘Narrow-Minded’ Duggars By Dressing Daughter In Pants

Josh Duggar has been in rehab for sex addiction for weeks now, following the scandals that he generated. The negative publicity began when news broke that Josh had molested five underage girls when he was a teenager, including several of his sisters. After TLC cancelled the family’s 19 Kids And Counting show, more scandals broke as Josh was linked to the Ashley Madison site for affairs. Duggar admitted to cheating on his wife Anna Duggar and an addiction to porn, after which he entered the faith-based rehab center.

But has Josh now left rehab permanently, taking a break for the holidays, or does he remain there? Those questions began to rise after a plane with one of the Duggar sons, Josh’s father Jim Bob Duggar, and two passengers who were not identified was seen at an airport in Illinois. The location was close to Josh’s treatment center, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The plane was identified as the same vehicle that landed at the airport when Duggar entered rehab. This time, it was there only a few hours before the plane left again for the town where the Duggars reside. But was Josh in it to leave the treatment center forever, or just going to visit Duggarville for the holidays?

A family insider revealed to ET that even individual members of the 19 Kids And Counting clan don’t always know what’s going on with each other.

“Nobody communicates and it’s weird and tough,” said the insider. “I think they just don’t really trust a lot of people right now, so they want to keep things on a ‘need-to-know’ basis.”

But some members of the Duggar family feel frustrated at all the secrets, added the insider.

“Tired of being hushed and tired of being left in the dark [within their own family],” described that source of some Duggars. “The level of expectation in this family is too high, it is narrow-minded.”

When Josh entered rehab, the Duggar family stated that they were praying for his recovery and hoping he would regret his actions.

“Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change.”

But does Josh really regret what he did? The family insider told ET that it seems doubtful that Josh is sincerely sorry.

“It would be different if Josh was actually sorry…he hid it. When you live in a fishbowl, people are going to find out,” added the source.

For now, Anna has taken on the role of single mom. The couple has four little ones, and the youngest, Meredith, is just 3-months-old. Marcus is 2, Michael is 4, and 6-year-old Mackynzie is the oldest.

Despite the sighting of the Duggar plane, a source told Us Weekly that Josh remains in rehab.

“Josh is not out of rehab,” stated that insider.

As for how Anna is coping, the 27-year-old has offered no public statement on the scandals generated by her husband.

“[Anna is] doing good,” said Amy Duggar, the cousin of Josh. “She’s strong.”

One indication of that strength may be seen in the surprising photo that Amy’s new husband Dillon King posted on Instagram of Anna’s and Josh’s little daughter Meredith.

“Isn’t she so cute!!!! #Meredith @annaduggar,” posted Dillon.

The surprise: Meredith sported pants. Some fans were shocked that the little girl was wearing that choice of clothes because the Duggar family tradition calls for girls to wear long skirts.

“Omg they let the little girl wear pants,”wrote such one fan.

“I think they let the younger girls wear pants under the dresses until they are old enough to know the proper way to sit,” another theorized.

However, due to what is termed “religious modesty,” the Duggar daughters are raised to wear skirts, not pants, by matriarch Michelle Duggar, according to Bustle.

“[My daughters have] grown up being dressed modestly, and in clothes that are definitely more feminine apparel,” says Michelle.

Jana, Jill, Jessa, and Jinger Duggar co-authored Growing Up Duggar and explained why they believe in modest attire.

“We do not dress modestly because we are ashamed of the body God has given us; quite the contrary. We realize that our body is a special gift from God and that He intends for it to be shared only with our future husband,” say the sisters. “We try to make it a habit to always cover the top of our shirt with our hand when we bend over. We don’t want to play the peekaboo game with our neckline.”

As for pants, Jessa created a stir when she volunteered as a firefighter, but rejected the garments as they were designed and transformed the uniform pants so that they became a feminine long skirt.

Does this mean that Anna is daring to defy her mother-in-law Michelle by dressing up her little girl in jeans? What do you think? Post your comments below.
