Soleil Moon Frye Announces Baby Number 4, And Her Kids Are ‘Over The Moon’ About It
Already a mom of three, Soleil Moon Frye has announced to the world via social media that No. 4 is soon on the way. And her other kids, 10, 7, and 20 months, seem to be pretty pleased about it.
Frye’s announcement first appeared in Twitter, where she posed with a positive pregnancy test to confirm baby number four with husband, film and TV producer Jason Goldberg, ET Online reported.

Shortly afterward, Soleil Moon and husband headed on over to charity event Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles, which featured more chic moms, all gathered to help low-income kids with diapers, clothing, and other necessities. Frye, 39, wasn’t shy about showing off — she wore a curve-hugging dress and made sure to cup her belly just in case the world missed it.

Frye joined fellow Hollywood moms Gwen Stefani, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and Kourtney Kardashian at the gala, at which Kerry Washington won the Giving Tree Award for her ongoing support to the charity.
Frye is of course best known for her role in Punky Brewster, and then Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but she seems most excited about her role as mom. Soleil Moon and her husband are mom and dad of three, Us Magazine noted, and all with names about unique as hers: daughters Jagger Joseph Blue, 10, Poet Sienna, 7, and son Lyric Sonny Roads, 20 months.
“I never realized that as a mom I’d learn more from my kids than I could ever teach them,” Soleil Moon said when she was pregnant for Lyric. “I thought I’d give them all this wisdom, and they’re my biggest teachers. They’re constantly inspiring me.”
Now thirteen weeks into her fourth pregnancy, Frye said she feels “fantastic” and that her children are getting used to the idea that another brother or sister is on the way. Soleil Moon told E! News that she and her husband are waiting to learn the gender of the newest little one, a secret that just adds to the excitement.
“The youngest is 21 months so he just knows to kiss my belly and the girls are over the moon. There’s a lot of happiness in our house right now.”
And as these things sometimes go, the latest addition to Frye’s family was a bit of a shock, she told People. Though a new baby wasn’t in the cards, Soleil Moon said she and her husband are still thrilled and excited.
And everyone at home is handling the news in their own way, Frye added.
“I think we were all in a state of shock, and yet, just so thrilled. The kids are just over the moon about it. Poet and Jagger are just ready, again. They’re like, ‘Okay, let’s go for it!’ And Lyric doesn’t quite know what’s going on. I just always tell him to kiss the belly, and he’s kissing my belly a lot. And I’m really excited for him to have a little one to play with.”
Soleil Moon Frye recently made headlines when she posted a photo of her bikini bod after losing 40 pounds, saying that she hoped her weight loss encouraged other moms to be the “best version” of themselves.
“I want to encourage moms to feel good about themselves. It’s great to feel your best. If I can do it, anyone can do it,” she said. “I hope that my weight loss success will inspire other mothers to make time for themselves and take that first step toward living a happier, healthier life.”
