Many years have passed since Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhall broke up after their short relationship. The break-up happened over the phone and it is well known that the break-up affected Taylor Swift. According to Life and Style Magazine, Jake has been doing his best to make it all up to Taylor.
It is said that the break up was so hard for Taylor because she lost her virginity to Jake.
It has been said that her Red album has a few songs that were written specifically for him although there has not been a confirmation from Taylor Swift regarding songs written for Gyllenhall. Taylor has had a long list of celebrities that she has dated over the years. Jake, however, seems to be the first ex that has come back in the picture after such a long break-up.
Taylor Swift is currently in a relationship with Calvin Harris, it is said that this is her most stable and healthy relationship she has been in over the past few years. It is possible that she is considering dumping him to rekindle the flame she experienced while she was with Gyllenhall?
There has been multiple reports that Taylor Swift has actually broken up with Calvin Harris. One of the latest news reports claims that Harris was seen visiting a seedy massage parlor. Could the rumors of the break ups stem from Taylor Swift looking for a way out and with Jake lurking in the background, she might just have the right distraction and motivation to move on.
It is said that Jake Gyllenhall ran into Taylor Swift’s friend, Cara Delevingne, over the summer and requested Taylor’s new number. Since then they have been talking and that may have lead to a spark igniting. If the chemistry is there, after all these years, it is possible for old feelings to resurface.
If you are excited to see the two back together, then bad news, it is just a rumor and nothing more. According to International Business Times, Taylor Swift is completely devoted to Calvin Harris.
A source close to the singer was happy to state that the rumors were just rumors
“That is complete nonsense of her being in contact with Jake. She is devoted to Calvin [Harris] and her career which are both going strong. She is not seeking anything from past boyfriends at all. She doesn’t talk to Jake.”
There are mixed feelings from Taylor Swift’s fans, as some are happy that she is with Calvin while others are waiting to hear news of a break-up. The couple, however, looks happy to be together and appear to be preparing for a long life together regardless of the negative news that is thrown at their relationship.

It is understandable why she would not only want to stay with Calvin, but would have not intentions of getting back together with any of her exes. Rumors do tend to stem from somewhere, so it is possible that Jake would like to get back with Taylor Swift.
