Kim Kardashian Says Lamar Odom Has ‘A Long Road’ To Recovery, Doesn’t Want More Children: Listen To Her Interview! [Video]

Kim Kardashian gave a heartbreaking interview on the Ryan Seacrest show, which reveals that Lamar Odom not only does not know how he became injured, but he will never be the same, reports E! News.

During his recovery, the Kardashian family has been right by the side of the retired basketball player, who has been learning to walk and talk again after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. Although his health is improving, Kim confessed that Odom is “here and he’s alive,” but is struggling with day to day tasks, and needs a lot of extra care.

Kardashian also revealed on the Ryan Seacrest show that Lamar Odom has “a long road,” and according to Kim “to say he’s fully better is not the truth either.” Odom has to learn to walk and talk again, and has had “a lot of communication therapy” following his injury, E! News reports.

Kim also said the bottom line is the Kardashian family does not “know if he’ll ever be the same again.” According to Kim, the ex-NBA star is recovering, albeit slowly.

Lamar has become an example of the dangers of drug overdoses, and Kim explained that his overdose and subsequent brain injury is “a really unfortunate, sad situation,” and asked fans to “keep on praying because the road is nowhere near over.”

During her interview, Kim also confessed that her estranged brother in law is “family and he’ll always be family.” The Kardashian clan, and especially Khloe, who, according to Life & Style magazine, is still married to Lamar Odom, will “always do what we can to help take care of him, and protect him, and be there for him.”

E! News reports that although Khloe Kardashian had filed for divorce, she called it off after Lamar was found in the Nevada brothel. Kardashian revealed on Ellen that she ended her divorce because she felt it was “a really insensitive thing” to continue with her divorce when Odom needs her the most.

Khloe also revealed that the Kardashian clan is telling Lamar he has a brain injury, but not how he got it. According to E! News, Khloe, Kim, and the rest of the Kardashian family are concerned that information “will set him back” in his recovery. Khloe’s interview on Ellen airs November 16.

Last October, Lamar Odom was found unconscious in Nevada brothel Love Ranch South from an apparent drug overdose. After staff called 911, the reality star was rushed to a nearby hospital. Khloe, Kim, and the rest of the Kardashian family immediately fled to his side to support him, according to E! News.

After a difficult and sad weekend, Kim, Kylie, Kris, and Kendall left in order to handle their business affairs, while Khloe remained behind. Kim Kardashian, whose second child is due December 25, left for an important prenatal appointment.

Kim also opened up about her pregnancy on Ryan Seacrest’s show, and says that she is “very content with just having two [children],” and does not want a third, reports Hollywood Life. Kim Kardashian also revealed that husband Kanye West “needs a lot of attention,” just like her children.

Kardashian confessed that she is “so over … beyond over” being pregnant, and told Kanye that “I am done. Don’t ever make me go through that again.” Although Kim realizes that she can come across as “ungrateful for being pregnant,” Kardashian is just trying to be “so honest about pregnancy.”

Although it was “really hard” for Kim to get pregnant with her second child, Kardashian also wants fans to realize how “miserable” pregnancy is, with the “swollen feet and heartburn” being “the worst” part of her experience.
