Oh No LiLo: Louis Tomlinson Admits He’s A Member Of The ‘Mile-High Club’ Just Like Liam Payne

Louis Tomlinson confessed during a game of “I Have Never” on the Jonathan Ross Show that he’s part of the infamous mile-high club. Following the 23-year-old’s confession, his band mate Liam Payne also claimed that he performed “the deed” while in an aircraft. Niall Horan said that it’s something he’s yet to do, while Harry Styles remained silent.

Directioners are relishing the public appearances of the band before they go on an extended break beginning next year. As they temporarily step away from the limelight, Liam talked about his plans during the interview.

“Obviously we’re all going to take a break for a bit first and then consider where we are in the world. Then I just want to write songs. That’s been the most fun process out of this, except for touring, the writing of the songs. We’re going to come back, so there’s something to write for as well, for us and for other people. We haven’t really had time to write an album.”

Liam appears to have inadvertently revealed the length of their break by saying that writing songs would be “nice for the next two years.” Meanwhile, Louis confirmed that the boys would go on a “lads’ holiday which could be massive.”

As for Harry, he told People that he’s looking forward to travel purely for leisure. It’s true that while the boys have toured many countries, they never had the chance to explore most places. “There are a lot of places that you’re kind of going around that you’d like to come back to and experience,” he said. Niall, on the other hand, is excited to catch up on all the soccer games that he missed since 2010.

Songwriter Julian Bunetta’s previous Entertainment Weekly statement seems to confirm Liam’s statement that the boys’ break will last for more than a year.

“I know they’re taking a much-deserved break. They’ve been doing something that no band has ever done — five albums, five tours, and a movie in five years. It’s pretty prolific and incredible. It’s up to them. They might take a year off and miss it. They might take a year off and say you know what, I need another year off.”

Will Louis use the boys’ break to spend time with his firstborn? While Louis himself confirmed his impending fatherhood, some fans, especially the Larry (Louis and Harry) and Elounor (Louis and Eleanor Calder) supporters, continue to express doubts concerning the veracity of Briana Jungwirth’s pregnancy.

Many were surprised when news of Louis expecting a child with Briana broke out in July, because the Doncaster-born singer just parted ways from his girlfriend of nearly four years, Eleanor.

Eight months after their split, Louis hinted that one song from One Direction’s Made in the A.M. album was penned for the University of Manchester graduate. In a video posted on the band’s Twitter account, Louis talked about the process of writing the single.

” ‘Love You Goodbye’ is probably the most personal for me. It was one of those moments when the song was starting to come together, you felt a real excitement for it.”

He went on to describe the song’s inspiration, which could pertain to the last time the couple saw each other — when Eleanor flew to Australia in a final bid to save their romance.

“Just the idea of the song is interesting to me. Everybody has that time after a break-up that you do have to see your ex again, and it’s kind of about that. We’ve been kinda waiting for that song really. It would be a good one to perform for sure.”
