Teresa Giudice House: ‘RHONJ’ Star & Husband Joe Avoid Foreclosure On Montville Home

Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, have reportedly stopped their bank from foreclosing on their Montville, New Jersey, home. As the Giudice family prepares for Teresa Giudice to come home from prison after nearly one year behind bars, news has hit the web claiming that she and Joe will remain in control of the mansion fans have seen for years on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

On November 13, a source revealed the following of Teresa Giudice’s home to Radar Online.

“The house is out of foreclosure, and the unpaid money owed has been paid in full. The mortgage is now current. The loan hasn’t been paid off, but [Teresa Giudice and Joe] are now in good standing with the loan. A judge is expected to sign off on the agreement reached between the bank and the Giudices.”

In October of last year, after pleading guilty to a number of charges of bank and wire fraud, Teresa Giudice and her husband, the parents of four daughters, Gia, 14, Milania, 9, Gabriella, 8, and Audriana, 3, were sentenced to time behind bars. During the hearing, Teresa Giudice received a 15-month prison term, and her husband, Joe, was given 41 months behind bars. However, due to the couple’s children, the judge on their case allowed them to serve their sentences one at a time so that there was never a time period when there children wouldn’t be cared for by at least one of their parents.

According to Radar Online, Teresa Giudice’s six-bedroom, six-bathroom home was previously listed for $2.99 million, and in February, the reality couple reduced the price by $500,000. The home was put on the market in order to cover some of the fees Teresa Giudice and her husband owed, and due to her inability to work while behind bars, it was believed the couple had been left with no choice but to sell the home. Luckily, however, Teresa Giudice and Joe were able to save their palatial pad.

“[Teresa Giudice] is ecstatic to be in this situation. She is stepping up and taking care of business. She loves that house, and wants to grow old there with Joe.”

At this point, it is unknown what Teresa Giudice and Joe did in order to get caught up on their loan payments.

In other Teresa Giudice news, the mother of four will reportedly be joined soon by a new housewife on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. According to a second report by Radar Online on November 13, Siggy Flicker, a relationship expert and matchmaker, has been added to the cast of the Bravo reality series for its upcoming 11th season.

“Bravo producers wanted someone pretty and successful to add to the mix and Siggy seems like a perfect fit,” Radar Online‘s source explained. “With [Teresa Giudice] getting out of jail and still fighting with Melissa, Siggy’s advice might be sought by the two ladies. Or maybe she’ll just add some drama of her own to the mix!”

As for who else will join Teresa Giudice on the show, that has yet to be revealed, and although Andy Cohen has spoken out often about the series, Bravo has yet to release an official announcement, confirming the renewal of The Real Housewives of New Jersey for season 7.

Teresa Giudice will be released from the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Connecticut, on December 23. Once her term is complete, she will be left as a temporarily single mother when Joe begins his own term.
