‘The O.C.’ Is Finally Available To Stream — From Ben McKenzie To Adam Brody And Rachel Bilson, Where Is The Cast Today?

Fans of The O.C. can rejoice as the hit series is finally able to stream online. According to E! Online, the show is now available to be watched in its entirety on CW Seed, which means fans can watch all they can take of Ben McKenzie, Adam Brody, Mischa Barton, and Rachel Bilson.

This marks the first time The O.C. has ever reached a streaming service after successfully alluding the likes of Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon for a number of years. Although the hit FOX drama officially ended its run back in 2007, fans now have access to all 92 episodes of the teen drama.

While fans are undoubtedly excited about this latest development, the news has also reignited rumors that a potential reunion is the cards for the show. In speaking about the possibility of the gang getting back together, Ben Mckenzie seemed a little doubtful about a future reunion.

“I don’t know,” he stated. “I saw Adam recently, and you know, I hope so. He’s a great guy.”

Although McKenzie certainly left open the possibility of a reunion, the fact that the show ended some eight years ago might prove to be a difficult obstacle to overcome. With that in mind, where are some of the actors now, and what have they accomplished since the end of The O.C.?

As far as McKenzie (Ryan Atwood) is concerned, the actor has achieved a good deal of success following his departure from the show. According to MTV News, he is currently enjoying the role of Commissioner James Gordon in the hit FOX series Gotham. Additionally, McKenzie starred for a few seasons on Southland as a rookie officer and in the 2008 film Johnny Got His Gun featuring Amy Adams.

Similarly, Adam Brody (Seth Cohen) has also managed to build a solid career following the end of The O.C. In fact, Brody has appeared in a number of TV series throughout the years, including Burning Love, Good Vibes, The League, and House of Lies. Additionally, the actor also likes to spend his days on the beach as was seen in a recent post to Instagram. Brody married former Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, and the very private couple recently welcomed their first child.

Meanwhile, a lot has happened for Rachel Bilson (Summer Roberts) since the show’s end. Along with a short appearance on How I Met Your Mother, Bilson is currently starring in the Hart of Dixie as Dr. Zoe Hart. She’s also had her daughter, Briar Rose, with Hayden Christensen back in 2014.

At the same time, things haven’t been so great for Mischa Barton (Marissa Cooper). In fact, the actress went through a rough period that included a drug arrest and a stint in a psychiatric ward. However, despite these setbacks, Barton has appeared in a number of different projects over the years and appears to be getting her life back in order.

For his part, Peter Gallagher (Sandy Cohen) was already a veteran actor when he joined the cast of The O.C. According to Pop Sugar, Gallagher has remained in the TV business since 2007, appearing in Rescue Me and Californication, to name a few roles. Currently, the actor can be seen in Covert Affairs on USA.

Speaking of success, Melinda Clarke (Julie Cooper) has certainly enjoyed a lot of it since the end of the show. Along with her appearance on Entourage, The Reaper, The Vampire Diaries, and Nikita, the actress has managed to keep herself up over the years. In fact, in a recent image posted to Twitter, Clarke looks as good as ever.

Rounding out the cast members of The O.C. are Kelly Rowan (Kristen Cohen) and Tate Donovan (Jimmy Cooper). While Rowan has appeared in a number of different TV movies over the years, she has largely stepped out of the spotlight since the end of the show. Most recently, she was involved in the Eric McCormack drama Perception.

Donovan, on the other hand, has been very busy since the conclusion of The O.C. In addition to landing a role in the award winning film, Argo, Donovan has appeared in a variety of projects, including Elvis & Norton, Damages, Deception, and Hostages. Furthermore, the actor is set to make an appearance in Showtime’s Masters of Sex in the new season.
