Rob Kardashian Under Family Pressure Due To ‘KUWTK’ Season 11 Return?

Rob Kardashian is reportedly under family pressure as their E! Network reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, returns for it 11th season. Three years after Rob Kardashian left the series, his family is reportedly hoping he will return, and despite an Us Weekly report in September that claimed he had filmed scenes for the show after losing 15 pounds, it doesn’t appear that he will be a part of the cast.

While his family would love Rob Kardashian to return to filming and to his normal life, he still appears to be struggling, and due to his dire mental health, his brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, has allegedly grown concerned with the way he’s been treated.

According to a November 11 report by the Ledger Gazette, Lamar Odom is currently attempting to protect Rob Kardashian from the mounting pressures of his famous family.

At the end of last month, a source spoke about Rob Kardashian’s relationship with Odom, claiming Rob Kardashian’s brother-in-law was concerned for his mental state.

“If there’s one person who’s fragile and in touch with his feelings, it’s Lamar. He heard what Khloe said in PEOPLE magazine about [Rob Kardashian] wasting his life, and he knows it was said out of love, but he worries that Rob isn’t strong and he may not respond well to pressure to get his life together. Lamar has asked Khloe to go easy on [Rob Kardashian].”

Prior to the source’s comments, Rob Kardashian’s sister spoke with People Magazine, via Entertainment Tonight Online, claiming Rob Kardashian, who has lived with her for the last several years amid his struggles with weight gain and depression, was wasting his life by hiding at their home in Los Angeles.

“[Rob Kardashian’s] such a great guy. That’s what’s so infuriating. I’m like, ‘Where is your will to live? Let’s be around people!’ But I can’t win life for [Rob Kardashian]. I have to wait until he’s ready to get to a place where he can do it himself. It’s sad, because he’s only wasting his life more and more.”

Although Rob Kardashian’s return to Keeping Up with the Kardashians is still possible, he was not seen in the trailer for the show’s 11th season. Instead, the series appears to be based around the rehab stint of Scott Disick, his breakup from Kourtney Kardashian, and Kim’s impending birth.

In addition to the rumored family tensions regarding Rob Kardashian’s possible return to the show, a source recently told Radar Online that there was also an ongoing feud over Rob Kardashian’s participation in the family’s upcoming Christmas Card. Every year, the family releases a holiday car to fans, and this year, the Jenners and Kardashians are hoping Rob Kardashian will be a part of it. However, as Radar’s source revealed, he’s allegedly not the easiest family member to work with. In fact, Rob Kardashian is said to be demanding a $250,000 paycheck for his participation as well as a number of schedule demands.

“[Rob Kardashian]’s confident that by Christmas he’ll be in a good enough condition to be front and center of the group shots, but he’s refusing to commit to the shoot until the very last minute,” an insider told the site.

For more of Rob Kardashian’s famous family and possibly Rob Kardashian himself, tune into the 11th season premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians this Sunday night, November 15, on the E! Network at 9 p.m.
