Chris Brown Says ‘Sorry’ To Ex Karrueche Tran In New Music Video, But Has Tran Already Moved On?

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran’s longtime relationship may have come to a bitter end earlier this year after Karrueche learned that Chris Brown fathered a child with another woman. However, it appears Chris Brown is publicly apologizing to Karrueche in his new collaborative music video with Rick Ross for “Sorry.”

Rick Ross and Chris Brown dropped the music video accompaniment for “Sorry” on Thursday, just one month after Rick Ross announced that Chris would be featured on his track given the nature of Brown’s split from Karrueche Tran.

In the video, Rick Ross finds himself in the center of a heated love triangle before attempting to salvage his relationship with his main girl after she discovers another woman’s underwear in Ross’ possession.

Despite the recent drama between Rick Ross and ex-fiancée Lisa Galore, Ross’ rumored rekindled flame makes a cameo appearance in the video. Meanwhile, Chris Brown shows off his dance moves and sings the apologetic hook to the duo’s chart-topping song, Hot New Hip Hop reports.

In the track, Chris Brown reflects on his former relationship with a “perfect” girl and apologizes for being deceitful and unfaithful to her during their romance.

“Sorry, won’t turn back the clock / Baby I took advantage cause I knew you / Wouldn’t believe it, so I used you / I’m sorry, oh I’m sorry don’t make it right, I know.”

While rumors initially suggested that Chris Brown had penned his portion of “Sorry” to apologize to ex-girlfriend Rihanna, sources close to Chris Brown spoke out against the claims by insisting that Brown drew inspiration from his split with Karrueche Tran in order to channel his feelings into the track.

Chris Brown’s source dished to Urban Islandz that it was Rick Ross’ team who contacted Brown for a feature on “Sorry” given Brown’s recent breakup with Karrueche Tran, noting that Ross’ team felt Brown would be “the perfect guy” for the song’s message.

Similarly, Chris Brown’s source notes that it was “definitely written” for Karrueche Tran and alleges that Karrueche has likely heard the track since it released last month.

“[Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran] don’t talk right now but you would have to be a person with no heart not to be moved by a heartfelt joint like this,” Chris Brown’s insider told the site.

While Chris Brown may be pouring his heart out to Karrueche in the music video for “Sorry,” new rumors are suggesting that Karrueche may be already moving on from her former relationship with Chris.

Mstars reports that Karrueche Tran was spotted on a lunch date with a “mystery man” in West Hollywood earlier this week, noting that the man in question is “rather handsome with long, blonde hair and several tattoos.”

The site also alleges that Karrueche was photographed giving her new man a “quick kiss on the cheek” before parting ways with the gentleman moments later.

Karrueche further fueled the new romance rumors on Instagram after she posted two photos advertising “clip-on man buns,” leading some fans to believe Karrueche was poking fun at her new man’s long hairstyle.

While neither Karrueche Tran nor Chris Brown has commented on Karrueche’s new rumored boyfriend, Tran recently revealed to Kontrol Magazine that she isn’t “mentally” ready to begin dating after splitting from Chris Brown in March.

“I haven’t really explored dating yet and I’m not sure if I’m mentally there just because of all the stuff that I’ve been through,” Karrueche explained when asked if she has begun dating since ending her relationship to Chris Brown earlier this year.

While Karrueche Tran may not have been open to dating at the time of her interview, it seems as though Karrueche is slowly attempting to move past her tumultuous history with Chris Brown.
