Is Kylie Jenner Really ‘Jealous’ Of Kendall’s Modeling Career?
Rumors are circulating yet again that Kylie and Kendall Jenner are feuding. That’s because the tabloids believe that the youngest Jenner sister is furious that her older sister is getting all of the attention for her budding modeling career.
Kendall Jenner, 20, walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the very first time on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and Kylie Jenner is reportedly not too happy about it. According to a report via In Touch Weekly, the 18-year-old Jenner sister has been keeping quiet since her older sister made her big debut in New York City. She was in New York, but only to support Caitlyn Jenner at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards. The tabloid claims that Jenner’s boyfriend Tyga was front row cheering on her sister as she walked down in sexy lingerie.
Kendall then admitted to the New York Daily News that she “banned” her famous siblings from her big night. She said “It was too much pressure” for both herself and her famous siblings. Only Kendall’s older sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, took to Instagram to share their support for their lil sis.
Kim shared the following photo with the caption, “My angel! You started modeling because this show was your dream and I am such a proud sister just knowing you never gave up and made all of your dreams a reality! Congrats [Kendall] on walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show!”
Khloe then shared a silly photo of Kendall Jenner cupping her breasts backstage at the show with the caption, “My baby sister’s dreams came true yesterday! [Kendall], every great dream starts with a dreamer. And you, my love, are a dreamer amongst Angels.”
Even Kris Jenner shared various photos of Kendall Jenner and her best friend Gigi Hadid on and off the runway.
Contrary to In Touchy Weekly‘s report, Kylie Jenner did share her support for her sister. She took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of Kendall and Gigi hugging each other with the caption, “And now congrats to my little Angels. I love you guys.”
And according to a recent report via the Hollywood Life, Kylie is not jealous of her older sister, no matter what the reports say.
“You’d think having an older sister as a Victoria’s Secret model would make you jealous, but Kylie is far from that. For one, it’s not what Kylie would want to do, she has other ambitions like acting that she wants to achieve, but also she wants the best for Kendall. She knows how much Kendall wanted to be a part of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and she can’t wait to see her strut her stuff on the catwalk.”
The insider also told the celebrity gossip blog that Kendall and Kylie are closer than they’ve ever been. “Kylie is very excited for her, and will be sitting in the front row cheering her sis on. They are, of course, family, but they’re also besties.”
But Kylie Jenner wasn’t front and center at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, according to the In Touch Weekly report. And another report on the Hollywood Life claimed that Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and possibly Kylie skipped the fashion show to visit Lamar Odom at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. That was after Kendall Jenner confirmed to the New York Daily News that she didn’t want her siblings to attend her big day. She only had Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner there to cheer her on.

It appears that there’s no bad blood between these sisters. Kendall and Kylie Jenner were spotted shoe shopping at the Ugg flagship store on Madison Avenue. Both sisters purchased boots from the Classic Sim Collection, according to Footwear News. Kendall also purchased a shearling trapper hat, alena slippers, and classic boots, while Kylie bought a pair of the classic boots, along with a pair of scuff slippers in buffalo plaid.
Both sisters also swapped out their high-fashion dresses for casual clothing. Kendall wore a shiny olive green anorak, a black sweater, and black leggings with chestnut Amie boots. Meanwhile, Kylie wore a black Moschino Milan hooded crop jacket and sweat pants with black chukka boots. The famous starlets took a selfie inside the store, quashing those feuding rumors.
