Farrah Abraham To Welcome Second Child: ‘Teen Mom’ Announces News On Instagram
Farrah Abraham will soon welcome her second child — but she’s not pregnant. On Tuesday, the Teen Mom star took to social media, where she posted exciting news about her impending adoption, and shared a photo of herself in a “Nine Months” T-shirt.

On November 10, Farrah Abraham posted the following message to fans on Instagram.
“Let’s embrace the power and beauty that family brings with adoption. There are over 145 million orphans in the world. I grew up with all my neighbors being adopted and in foster care and I’ve seen it mean the world to them to have loving and caring homes ‘a family.’ I hope soon Sophia and I can make a world of difference by bringing home a baby brother or sister for Sophia. I always have been passionate about adoption as it means so much to me, my family, my community, my church and my heart thank you to all the parents who have adopted and to all the amazing children with their loving families. God Bless.”
Farrah Abraham then shared a photo of herself wearing a T-shirt that read, “Nine months from now, the only thing I’m expecting is to be more awesome.”

In the hours that have passed since Farrah Abraham’s message was shared, several news outlets, including OK! Magazine, have reported on the reality star’s second child.
Farrah Abraham’s post certainly comes as a surprise. Although she hasn’t exactly ruled out the idea in the past, her personal life is a bit unstable. Not only is the reality star in an on-again-off-again relationship with her current boyfriend, Simon Saran, she’s often on the road tending to personal appearance duties.
Since Farrah Abraham released her adult film, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, her fame has soared, and with that has come several opportunities to promote the film and her many endeavors that have followed, including a line of adult toys and a couple of erotic novels.
Although Farrah Abraham does spend time in Austin with her 6-year-old daughter, Sophia, many fans have felt that her hectic schedule isn’t suitable for a child.
“[Farrah Abraham’s] never around for her kid so how’s she gonna add a second?” one Instagram user commented.
“It’s safe to say [Farrah Abraham] would never be approved to adopt, thank god!” a second critic wrote. “Nothing with a heartbeat should ever be left in your care!”
Farrah Abraham first gained fame when she appeared on an episode of 16 and Pregnant Season 1. From there, she, along with Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout, and Amber Portwood, formed a new series, Teen Mom, which has since been renamed Teen Mom OG.
When Teen Mom OG was first launched, it was reported that Farrah Abraham would not be included in the series due to her involvement in the adult entertainment industry. However, when the show returned to MTV several months ago, Farrah Abraham’s story was included in the show.
Throughout Teen Mom OG, Farrah Abraham feuded with her co-stars, mainly Maci Bookout, who temporarily quit the show due to her involvement. According to Bookout, she didn’t want her son Bentley filming a series, which also included the star of an adult film. And while she eventually returned to production, her son was kept off the show.
Farrah Abraham and the Teen Mom OG cast will reportedly return to MTV for the series’ next installment sometime later this year. However, the network hasn’t officially announced the series’ renewal.
