Gigi Hadid And Kendall Jenner Kick Up The Sex Appeal On Victoria’s Secret Runway, Kardashian-Free [Photos]
Pals and top models Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner each took to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway to make their debut appearances in the famed annual event for the notable lingerie brand. Both girls stunned and looked flawless in the racy, yet angelic pieces they graced the runway in.
Jenner’s chocolate locks flowed in naturally-tousled beauty, complementing her stunning physique and the must-have lingerie she sported. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star has come a long way from simply being the younger sister to Kim. Kendall has made her own mark on the world and continues to climb the ranks as one of the leading international models of the day. Entertainment Tonight relays the description of two particular ensembles that had the 20-year-old looking goddess-like.
“The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shined like a diamond in a light blue, jewel-incrusted outfit with a beaded corset and sheer paneling. Later, Jenner embraced a more vibrant color scheme with this bright, bold red, yellow and blue ensemble.”
Kris Jenner was front, center, and ready to support her gorgeous daughter. Mama Jenner took to Instagram later, where she posted a video of Kendall walking in the show. The video’s caption sported the hashtag #proudmama.
Gigi Hadid was just as stunning and reminded onlookers as to why she has shot to superstar status as one of the most sought-after models working today. Much like her mother Yolanda Foster, who is a former supermodel and reality star, Gigi brings the curvaceous sex appeal to every show and campaign she has landed. Hadid is certainly a breath of fresh air in the pool of often overly-thin models. Hadid has shared that she does not get too strict with her diet but does turn to exercise for maintaining her form and figure.
ET Online recalls what Gigi strutted down the runway garbed in and notes the fierce nature with which she owned the stage.
“Hadid gave every seasoned Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show pro a run for their money in this emerald green butterfly bustier and sheer, green-and-black cape.The 20-year-old model also burned up the runway in [a] firefighter-themed underwear set.”
Following her successful appearance in the show, Gigi also took to social media to express how important the event was to her. The blond beauty used Instagram as her main avenue for sharing the excitement felt during the experience. Alongside pictures of herself and Jenner in their elaborate outfits, Hadid captioned the pic with a suiting description.
“No one I would have rather shared my VS v-card with. This show is genuinely a dream come true. Can’t thank you enough @victoriassecret.”
In addition to beautiful novice VS models Gigi and Kendall, the seasoned participants in the sexy show included Alessandra Ambrosia, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, and Lily Aldridge. Aldridge was given the honor of wearing the $2 million fantasy bra for the big night.
As noted, Kris Jenner was in attendance at the VS event. However, Kendall did share that she specifically asked her sisters not to be in attendance at the show. Kendall spoke candidly in an interview with the New York Daily News on the subject.
“I told them all to stay away. It was too much pressure and I was like, ‘Mom and Dad are good enough.’ I just need the pressure off. There’s enough pressure as it is,” she said.
The healthy competition that goes on between the Kardashian-Jenner sisters is clearly enough to motivate and inspire Kendall to keep on doing what she’s doing.
