Fort Lauderdale resident Kevin Kearney likes to fly fast, but as the above video shows, kite surfing in a tropical storm is a recipe for disaster, although the station who captured the footage might win the odd funny/ odd video competition.
Lastest reports have Kearney out of a coma but having no recall of the incident.

Kevin Kearney is a REALLY experienced kite surfer now. I wonder, if he were to teach a class on kite surfing, and bestow his knowledge upon the new enthusiast, what he might have to say about kite surfing in high winds?

Couldn't have said it any better.
The kicker is that the dummy doesn't remember anything about his misadventure.
Odds are he's going to do try that, or equally stupid things again once he's back on his feet.
Lol…love how his family describes him as an “experienced” kite surfer. Experience is much more than doing anything over a period of time, it includes particular wisdom and knowledge gained over such time.
Judging from his “experience”, I'd hate to see what he tried as a beginner.
