‘Sister Wives’ News: Meri Brown Was Plotting to Leave Kody Brown For ‘Sam’
Next week on Sister Wives, it appears that Meri Brown will reveal about the fact that she was talking to someone else online and ended up getting catfished. You never know what will end up being aired on TLC, but according to All About the Tea, Meri was actually planning to leave Kody Brown and their polygamist lifestyle for this new person in her life that she knew as “Sam.”
Meri was talking to what she thought was a man named Samuel Cooper, but it turns out that it was a woman from Oklahoma named Jackie Overton. Meri was being played the entire time, and now it is being revealed that Meri Brown was considering leaving her family to be with this man. The show may just make it look like Meri Brown was flirting a bit, but it is obvious that is not the case if you listen to voicemails that have been revealed where Meri was talking to “Sam.”
Meri Brown did legally divorce Kody Brown, but they have shared that this was only so Kody could adopt Robyn’s children. Kody and Robyn Brown needed to be legally married for Kody to adopt the kids. Meri has said all along that she plans to stay a part of the family and that nothing would change, but it sounds like that might not be the case at all.
These voice mails reveal things that Meri Brown said to “Sam.” There are actually over 200 voice mails from Meri Brown and in them she talks about “taking steps” away from the family, and how “Sam” was there for her even though she went off on him about something. Meri Brown even says she was emotionally checked out from her marriage to Kody.
One voicemail has Meri Brown going off about how she wasn’t comparing “Sam” to Kody. She goes on to say that she thinks that “Sam” is taller, better looking, and other things. Meri even goes on to say that “Sam” is kinder and sweeter. It is very obvious that Meri has strong feelings for this person, but it turned out that she was being tricked the entire time, and that “Sam” actually never even existed. Meri even breaks down crying in the voicemails, all about how she will keep fighting for “Sam” and that all she wants is him. It really does sound like Meri was planning to leave her family and move on with this person, but of course that never happened since “Sam” doesn’t exist.
Radar Online shared that a preview for Sister Wives showed Meri Brown in tears over what happened with the person who catfished her. In this preview, Meri is seen saying that the family has no idea how bad it all is, and it looks like it will all be revealed. Everyone thought this would come out this week, but instead, they are putting it off until the season finale this week. The episode last night was all about the Brown family heading to Alaska and taking a family vacation, plus Robyn Brown shared that she is having a little girl. In the preview, Meri Brown speaks out.
“I never met this person and I regret being drawn into this situation, but I hope because of it I can help others who find themselves in similar circumstances.”
