Corey Simms And Wife Miranda Welcome A Baby Girl, ‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Speaks On Facebook

Corey Simms welcomed his third child over the weekend. Although the baby wasn’t due until January, Corey Simms’ wife, Miranda, gave birth just days ago, and on Instagram, Corey Simms’ father, Jeff, shared the news with their many fans.

“Remington Monroe surprised us this weekend with her early arrival. She and her mommy are doing well. I am hopelessly in love! #remi,” Corey Simmms’ father told fans on November 9.

Corey Simms and wife Miranda announced their baby news during an episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 6, which aired over the summer. During the episode, Corey Simms and Miranda shared a sonogram photo with his twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, revealing they would soon have another younger sibling (Corey Simms’ ex-wife, Leah Messer, also has a third child, 2-year-old Adalynn, with her second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert).

Corey Simms’ new addition comes just one month after he was granted primary custody of his 5-year-old twins. Following a slew of accusations against his ex-wife, whom Corey Simms claimed was hiding a drug problem and unable to properly parent their girls, a judge awarded him with a court win, which allowed him to have his twins from Monday to Friday, while Messer was allowed visitation with the girls on the weekends.

During the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, Corey Simms met with Messer at a local restaurant and accused her of hiding a drug problem. He also claimed his daughter, Aleeah, was forced to cook her own breakfast because Messer didn’t get up in time. He also alleged that his children informed him they often hid in the family’s laundry room when Messer and Calvert would engage in scary fights.

After receiving backlash from Teen Mom 2 fans, who claimed his accusations against Messer were unfounded, Corey Simms explained why he was convinced there was more to Messer’s story. Below is what Corey Simms’ message to fans said.

“Idk why I’m tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”

Although Messer continues to deny Corey Simms’ allegation against her, she entered treatment in Arizona during filming on the MTV reality show’s sixth season. However, according to her, her stint in treatment was the result of her mental health issues, including anxiety and depression, which led her to seek help.

Following the news of Corey Simms’ new baby, Messer took to Facebook, where she shared a photo of a small baby. After it was revealed Corey Simms’ third child was born premature, Messer posted a link to an article about a baby with dwarfism.

In the caption of Messer’s link, she told fans, “She is special in every single way.”

Throughout the last few weeks, there have been several reports regarding the seventh season of Teen Mom 2, and while MTV has not yet officially announced the renewal of the series, Corey Simms’ co-star, Kailyn Lowry, recently spoke of Season 7 with Wetpaint Entertainment.
