Rachael Ray Show Renewed for 2 more seasons

The Rachael Ray show has been renewed on ABC for the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

Former Food Network hottie Rachael Ray is one of very few to successfully transition from cooking show to hosting her own daytime talk show, winning the best talk show Daytime Emmy Award last year. Her show is also nominated for four 2009 Daytime Emmys, including best talk show and best talk show host.

Terry Wood, president of programming for CBS TV Distribution says:

“Viewers really responded to our initial idea to expand Rachael beyond the kitchen and turn it into a hit daytime show.”
