‘Botched By Nature’ New E! Show Spin-Off To ‘Botched’ Is Taking Plastic Surgery Patient Applications

The TV show called Botched is a bonafide hit, with viewers really taking to the cases of the plastic surgery patients who’ve gotten “botched” surgeries that have left them looking for fixes. Some of the patients have gone to foreign countries to get plastic surgery done cheaply, and come back to the U.S. with horror stories about having no numbing medication or never having follow-up appointments and the like. The popularity of the show has prompted E! to create a spin-off show called Botched by Nature. This time, the beloved Botched physicians, Dr. Nassif and Dr. Dubrow, will leave the comfort of their California office to go around the country in order to “transform the lives of patients willing to share their powerful stories with the world.”

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Botched by Nature will premiere in 2016, with at least eight, one-hour episodes of Botched by Nature coming from Evolution Media. Whereas Botched generally features patients who travel to see the good doctors, Botched by Nature will focus on the plastic surgeons providing the ultimate house call as they look for patients who need their help.

Botched by Nature will display the doctors getting deeply involved with patients that might suffer from birth defects, disproportionate body parts, or major life accidents that have affected their lives in a big way. After taking time to understand the deep mental impacts of their Botched by Nature state of being, the selected patients will be flown back to Los Angeles to have their surgeries.

Botched by Nature came into being after the popularity of E’s Botched show. Jeff Olde, a programming executive, spoke about the success of the plastic surgery show franchise.

“We are excited to build on the mega-success of the Botched franchise with Botched By Nature. Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif will continue to inspire viewers as they transform the lives of patients who are brave enough to share their stories.”

While Botched airs Tuesdays at 9/8c p.m. on E! — there’s no word yet on the programming schedule for the Botched By Nature series. There is, however, information on how people can try and appear on Botched By Nature.
