Halle Berry Out With Ex, Olivier Martinez, But The Ring Is Back On

It’s been a long two weeks for Halle Berry. The news of her divorce from Olivier Martinez hit, and then to add insult to injury, her exes, David Justice and Eric Benet, dissed the actress on Twitter. That said, it looks like Olivier and Halle are keeping up a strong front, even though they’re getting divorced. The two were out and about smiling together days before they announced their split, and just recently the two were spotted together.

Here’s one interesting tidbit about their recent outing — Olivier Martinez was spotted wearing his wedding ring. Does this mean they had a change of heart? We don’t exactly know.

That said, it was Berry that filed the divorce papers in a Los Angeles court on October 26. She cited irreconcilable differences for the reason for the split, and Olivier was been mum about the whole thing. Berry, who was dealing with her exes coming out the woodwork to comment on her crumbling marriage, spoke about how she was doing after the split.

In an interview with Extra, Halle told the show that, “I’m doing okay, I really am. I keep pushing and I’m really happy to be here because whenever you’re going through anything in life, when you step outside yourself and focus on others, that’s always the best remedy for any situation that you’d rather not be dealing with.”

When the topic of her birthday came up, she said that turning 50 won’t be a huge moment for her, because she won’t let her age define her, even if it could be a monumental birthday.

“I am not going to be defined by that number. Yeah, it’s coming. Yeah, so what? I am not going to be defined by that 5-0.”

As for her exes, as the Inquisitr reported, David Justice, who Berry married in 1992 and divorced in 1996, wrote a Twitter rant about how Halle is usually the one to blame for her marriages ending. The former MLB player is famously known for allegedly physically abusing Halle, as she revealed in an interview with Barbara Walters. She also revealed that enduring this abuse almost lead her to taking her own life. Justice denied this claim that he abused Berry and pinned it on actor Wesley Snipes, who she also dated.

Justice elaborated on the tweets.

“She was mad at me leaving the relationship so she and her Hollywood team just tried to destroy my character. It had to be my fault, right?”

As for her other famous exes, Justice went even further.

“Yup…Me, Eric, Gabriel and Olivier were all her ‘Knight in Shining Armor,’ until it ends…Then we all become the worst guys in history. Only the guys in the relationship with Halle know the real deal..there will be another, of course. He’ll be called ‘The Best’ until it ends.”

Even though it appears that Martinez and Berry are getting along for the sake of their son, Maceo, Justice warns that the tide will turn, as he said, “just wait. It’s coming.” In a separate tweet Justice said that Berry once insinuated that her daughter Nahla “wasn’t safe” around father Gabriel Audrey, who she was in a huge battle with in the courts.
