Joy Anna Duggar Visits Jessa Seewald In The Hospital, Family Shares New Photos Of Baby Seewald For Fans

Jessa Seewald gave birth to her first child this week and had a somewhat rough start to motherhood. The new mother had a home birth and delivered a 9 pound, 11 ounce baby boy in one of the Duggar’s homes. However, shortly after giving birth, Michelle Duggar made a 911 call, indicating that Jessa was “bleeding heavily” and needed medical treatment. An ambulance and fire truck were sent to the home, and Jessa was taken to a nearby hospital. The Duggars say that Jessa is “doing great,” but have not elaborated on her current state of health. However, a new photo shows Joy Anna Duggar in the hospital holding baby Seewald.

The Seewald Family Blog posted a number of new photos to their official baby album, and one photo seems to show Joy Anna visiting Jessa in the hospital. The photograph shows Joy Anna standing in front of a medical board holding baby Seewald. The medical board behind Joy Anna seems to have been cleared, so a discharge date is not listed. However, behind Joy Anna’s head, you can see that a nurse is listed for “mom.”

Joy Anna isn’t the only Duggar that was showcased in the new baby Seewald album. There is another photo that shows Jinger Duggar holding the new baby after it appears she was by Jessa’s side during her home birth. The photo shows Jinger holding the baby shortly after birth in the now-iconic brown towel. She is in a room that has a bed and towel in the background, along with two Starbucks coffee cups on a bedside table. Therefore, it seems that Jinger was there for the birth of her new nephew, which isn’t surprising, as Jinger is incredible close to Jessa.

In fact, as the Inquisitr previously reported, Jinger was the member of the Duggar family that left a truly heart-felt message for Jessa on her birthday. She noted that Jessa has always been there to turn her back to Jesus.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are also featured in the photo album alongside grandma Duggar. Though the family is slowly releasing new photos of baby Seewald, they have yet to confirm a name for the newest Duggar grandbaby. Many are speculating, but no official announcement has been made. However, it is likely that the first name announcement will come via People Magazine, as the Duggars are known for signing exclusive contracts with the publication for first dibs on the baby details. Jessa’s sister, Jill Dillard, announced her birth and son Israel’s name in an People exclusive, and most expect Jessa to do the same.

Meanwhile, Duggar fans will have to hold tight until Jessa and Ben decide to share more details about their newest member of the family. With the upcoming premiere of the new three-part series, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, it is likely that Jessa will keep some of the details private in a bid to gain viewership for an almost inevitable birth special on TLC.

The Duggar daughter special will focus on sisters Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard. Many of the other Duggar family members will make cameo appearances, as well. However, the focus of the show will be on Jill Dillard’s struggles as she moves to Central America with her young family and Jessa’s pregnancy and eventual birth.
