But the landscape looks very different less than two months later, as Arsenal have been staggered by a wave of injuries, most recently to defender Laurent Koscielny before Arsenal’s Champions League away fixture at Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

But Arsenal have also been dominant in league play, winning five games in a row by a total score of 16-3 — despite a depleted roster with 10 injuries to key players, including Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, and Theo Walcott.
That means manager Arsene Wenger will be relying heavily on 29-year-old striker Olivier Giroud, who has tallied eight goals so far this year, to carry the scoring burden when Tottenham Hotspur pay their latest visit to the Emirates on Sunday.
