Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Silence Split Rumors, ‘Twilight’ Actor Shows Support For Fiancée At MOBO

Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have been keeping a low profile amid rumors that suggest Pattinson is unhappy in his relationship with Twigs, but it appears Robert and is finally putting the split rumors to rest after he was spotted showing support for fiancee FKA during the MOBO Awards on Wednesday.

FKA Twigs was awarded three nominations for this year’s Music of Black Origin Awards, one for best Female Act and two for Best Video for “Glass & Patron” and “Pendulum,” ultimately going on to win the award for Best Video for her work in “Pendulum.”

Twigs also served as a musical guest for the awards ceremony, performing two tracks off of her M3LL155X album, “Figure 8” and “In Time.”

Given FKA Twigs’ various nominations and status as a guest performer, fans began growing concerned when fiancé Robert Pattinson was a no-show for the red carpet event for Wednesday evening’s ceremony.

According to Gossip Cop, Pattinson opted out of walking the red carpet for the MOBO Awards, but was spotted sitting with FKA Twigs during the ceremony. Pattinson eagerly looked on as Twigs performed her two new singles and accepted the award for Best Video.

Following the awards, Twigs and Pattinson were spotted heading out to dinner in Mayfair where photographers caught Robert and Twigs attempting to avoid having their picture taken.

Despite Robert Pattinson showing support for FKA during the MOBO Awards, reports have already begun to surface suggesting that Robert and Twigs were bickering with one another following the conclusion of the awards ceremony.

According to The Sun, via Mirror UK, Pattinson and Twigs were overheard “swearing” at each other in the back of a taxi before a source claims to have saw FKA Twigs and Pattinson get into a heated argument.

“Rob was livid and said, ‘Why the f******hell were you waiting there? You knew where I was.'”

Similarly, another source revealed to the publication that tensions between Rob and Twigs remained high during the MOBO Awards.

“Someone joked about them doing a duet because Rob’s a musician too. He said he’d love to, but [FKA Twigs] shook her head and he stormed off.”

Despite the claims, photographs taken of Robert and FKA during the event show the duo smiling and seemingly enjoying being in one another’s company.

News of Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs’ reunion comes just days after reports began suggesting that Pattinson is “depressed” and has plans to call off his engagement to Twigs.

A tabloid rumor emerged last week suggesting that the constant negativity surrounding his engagement to FKA Twigs has led Pattinson to become depressed before alleging that Rob has plans to call off his engagement to Twigs.

Similarly, rumors of an impending split plagued Pattinson and Twigs last month after sources revealed that the duo haven’t been speaking to one another lately due to conflicts in their respective schedules.

Pattinson has been busy filming for The Lost City of Z, while Twigs has had several performance commitments that have kept the couple apart. However, a source close to Twigs and Pattinson revealed to E! News that the duo is doing “just fine” despite the ongoing speculation.

“They haven’t drifted apart [despite claims], but they haven’t spoken as much lately because of his filming schedule.”

Pattinson and Twigs’ insider further explains that there won’t be a wedding for the couple this year, but notes that it has nothing to do with rumors suggesting that Robert Pattinson is unhappy in their relationship.

“There isn’t a rush to get married. Fall plans turned into winter plans and now there are no specific plans, but they still plan on getting married.”
