Jessa Duggar Seewald Didn’t Have Home Birth, Rushed To Hospital (Updated)

Jessa Duggar Seewald just recently gave birth to her first son with husband Ben Seewald. Jessa had been planning a home birth, but it turns out that this didn’t work out for her. TMZ now shared that Jessa had to be rushed to the hospital to have her baby boy. Jessa tried to do a home birth, but complications ended up happening, and an ambulance had to be called to the house. It picked her up and took her to the hospital. So far, nobody has shared exactly what the complications were or why Jessa couldn’t have the baby at home like she originally planned.

Jessa was taken to a hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas, but the exact complications have not been shared. Seewald tried for a home birth, but things just didn’t work out. The baby ended up weighing nine pounds, 11 ounces and measured more than 21 inches. A larger baby like this is harder to have naturally, but it is unknown if this was the complication that had Jessa heading to the hospital. There are so many things that could go wrong being at home and cause her to need a medical team to assist. There is a bit of confusion by fans because there are pictures of Jessa’s new baby at home, but there are no pictures yet of Jessa showing that she is at home with the baby.

When Jill Duggar Dillard had her baby, Radar Online shared that she also had to go to the hospital due to complications. She was in labor for 70 hours and ended up having to have baby Israel via c-section in the end. Even though Jill is a midwife, she still had problems and heading to the hospital was the best thing for her when having this baby. The Duggars believe in trying for a home birth, but things just don’t always end up working out the way that they want it to work.

TMZ has a video of the ambulance and the person who took it says that it was at Grandma Duggar’s house. This must mean the home of Michelle and Jim Bob, but that is not confirmed. It shows the ambulance leaving the home and even talks about how this is the address that Josh Duggar’s Ashley Madison account had on it. They were not able to get anything showing Jessa getting into the ambulance or any details though.

At this time, the Duggar family is not speaking out about Jessa Duggar Seewald having to go to the hospital to have her little boy. While she was pregnant, Jessa called the baby “Quincy,” but since his birth they have not revealed what name they plan to use for their little boy. Everyone is hoping that they will share the name soon, but Jessa could even decide to save this information for the upcoming specials and let fans find out then.
