Watch India Vs. South Africa Live Online Cricket: Day 2, 1st Test Streaming Links, Preview

India and South Africa cricket fans can watch Day Two of the first 2015 Test match between the two nations live online, in what should be three tightly contested sessions of Test cricket after a first day that saw South Africa bowlers restrict their hosts to a mere 201 all out — only to lose two wickets of their own in the first 20 overs of the South Africa first innings.

If the trends set on day one of the India vs. South Africa Test continue, the match appears unlikely to last the full five days, on a Mohali pitch that appeared to offer more than enough to spinners on both sides. For South Africa, 28-year-old part-time slow bowler Dean Elgar, who had taken just six wickets in 17 previous Test appearances for his country, knocked over four in just eight overs, while letting a mere 22 runs leak through — easily his best test performance, as the left-hander filled in for injured J.P. Duminy.

To find out how to watch Day Two of the first India vs. South Africa Test cricket match live online from Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali, Chandigarh, India, see the streaming information at the bottom of this article.

First ball of the day is set for 9:30 a.m. India Standard Time on Friday, November 6. But United States fans can catch the live online stream on Wednesday, November 5, at 11 p.m. Eastern Time, 8 p.m. Pacific.

India Captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat, declaring that the wicket looked like a good one to score runs — only to see opener Shikhar Dhawan caught at first slip by Hashim Amla on a short ball from Vernon Philander to go out for no runs on only the second ball of the match.

Later, Kolhi himself was dismissed for just one by 20-year-old South Africa pace bowling sensation Kagiso Rabada.

Elgar was critical of the Mohali pitch after the day’s play wrapped up.

“I don’t think it’s a very good cricket wicket. It is my personal opinion,” Elgar said. “It is a result wicket, which is expected when you come here. But kudos to India, they are obviously going to prepare wickets like these against us, I’m sure. And we know coming here, it was going to be very different from what we are used to.”

When India took the field, the South Africa batsmen found out exactly how difficult scoring was going to be on the Mohali pitch, with spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravinda Jadeja knocking off opener Stiaan Van Zyl and Faf du Plessis respectively. South Africa were 28 for two at stumps.
