‘RHOC’ Heather Dubrow: ‘I Am Interested To See How Things Develop In The Off Season’

Heather Dubrow may not have been as aggressive as Meghan King Edmonds when it comes to addressing Brooks Ayers, as she may feel that it is Brooks’ personal business. But Heather did get involved when public opinions started influencing Vicki Gunvalson’s persona. Many of the wives questioned whether Vicki actually knew that he had cancer, or if she was just listening to his many stories and choosing to believe him.

Heather Dubrow was concerned for her friend, and sat her down during Shannon Beador’s Aries party. She let her know that people were talking, but Gunvalson wasn’t too concerned about people’s opinions. Now, she may have lost her friends over this drama, and Heather is speaking out about it.

According to a new Bravo report, Heather Dubrow is now revealing that it has been quite the season for the ladies, and they are still dealing with the raw emotions from the reunion. Heather was shocked to learn that Vicki had fabricated some of the stories on the show to get sympathy, and Dubrow has distanced herself from Gunvalson since then.

“There have been so many twists and turns and changes in relationships. I actually feel like they are not frivolous, but a quantum shift in friendships to what they actually should BE, versus what they were,” Heather reveals in her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, adding, “I am interested to see how things develop in the ‘off season’ because I think, like a lot of you, there are a lot of relationships that have the potential to be irreparable. There’s more to discuss on what wasn’t shown on the reunion!”

Heather Dubrow then explains that fans can catch up with her on her new podcast, Heather Dubrow’s World. Tamra Barney and Shannon Beador stopped by her podcast last week, and the ladies shared their honest thoughts about the cancer drama. As it turns out, many of the ladies have decided to cut Vicki out completely from their lives, and they are not interested in filming with Gunvalson. This could possibly be a problem for Bravo.

But it is definitely interesting that Heather wants to see what happens during the off-season. Emotions are raw at the moment, and it may be worth it for Bravo to start filming The Real Housewives of Orange County soon to capture the aftermath of the drama. The issues were clearly not worked out when the cameras disappeared. And on her podcast, Heather Dubrow explains that she doesn’t really know where she stands.

“I have tried to give her every opportunity to be a supportive person for her,” Heather Dubrow told Tamra and Shannon during her podcast, according to People, adding, “I am very disappointed. Why I think this show was so good this season was it was authentic relationships and true storylines. I don’t want to be on a show that is nothing less than authentic. It hurts us all.”

And Tamra Barney and Shannon Beador couldn’t agree more. Shannon has revealed that her friendship with Vicki is practically over, and Tamra doesn’t know where she stands with Vicki these days. But she has distanced herself from her friend.

“I think when someone comes into a reality show fabricating their reality it damages my authenticity and my credibility,” Shannon Beador revealed during Heather’s podcast, adding, “I think it damages basally the whole concept of reality television. So I have a huge problem returning and filming with someone who is not truthful.”

What do you think of Heather Dubrow’s opinions about Vicki Gunvalson? What do you think will happen during the off season?
