Kim Richards In Tears During ‘RHOBH’: What Made Her Break Down?
Kim Richards has struggled this year. Back in April, she was arrested for intoxication and lashing out at an officer when he was arresting her. In addition, Kim was arrested for shoplifting at a Target near her home, stealing more than $600. Richards has been sentenced and has received community service, probation, and a requirement to go to AA meetings for a year.
But there is something else Kim Richards wants to settle. Now that she has her own penalty sorted out, she wants to apologize to her co-stars and some Bravo producers. And this went down at Kyle Richards’ home. But it sounds like Kim isn’t apologizing to viewers, as this apology was done off camera.
According to a new Radar Online report, Kim Richards is now apologizing to both producers and the Bravo crew for all of her behavior over the past little while. She has acted out, gotten arrested, and offended some of the ladies. Now, she is apologizing in hopes of getting back in the good graces of everyone involved with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“Kim was at the finale taping for the show last Friday at sister Kyle’s La Quinta vacation home,” an insider revealed, adding, “Kim took several members of the crew aside, and apologized profusely for her behavior recently.”
It sounds like this apology was something Kim had considered for quite some time. Richards used to fight a lot with her sister, Kyle Richards, but the two sisters have stepped up, put their differences aside, and worked out their issues. Kim may just be working on apologizing to others who need it. And this is an emotional challenge.
“There were a lot of tears as Kim explained she is committed to her sobriety,” the source revealed, adding, “Kim also owned up to her past bad behavior to the other ladies. There was a lot of concern for Kyle as well. The sisters appear to be starting a new chapter in their relationship after not speaking for months.”

Richards met up with her sister Kim at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant to celebrate and reunite. Kyle believed that Brandi Glanville stood in their way for quite some time, but they have now been able to get back together and work on their relationship.
“Kim is sober and is coming to grips with all of the havoc she caused. Kyle is forgiving, but a lot has gone down that she just won’t be [able] to forgive,” a source has previously revealed to Radar Online, adding that Kim has stayed in the background, “She didn’t want to have any attention on her. She really hopes to come back to the show next season and would allow cameras to document her path to sobriety and recovery.”
Even though Kim Richards and Kyle have worked out their issues, it is uncertain whether Kim is planning a talk with Lisa Rinna. The two didn’t get along as well when filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last year, as Kim hinted that Harry Hamlin had cheated on Rinna. One can imagine that Rinna would like an apology from Kim, but it could be a long road for them. But both Lisa and Kim were at Kyle’s party, where Richards was dishing out apologies to producers.
“It was the first time in nearly a year that Kim and Lisa Rinna have been in the same room together,” the source explained. “Lisa was happy to see Kim because she had been concerned about all of her legal problems lately. Kim and Lisa spoke quietly in a corner. These two will never be close, but Lisa wanted to put their beef behind them once and for all. For the rest of the party, Kim was very, very quiet. There was no drinking or bizarre behavior.”
