One Direction Star Harry Styles Is ‘C***sucker’: Noel Gallagher
One Direction star Harry Styles has been attacked in a foul-mouthed tirade by former Oasis singer and guitarist Noel Gallagher. One Direction and Harry Styles, in particular, have been attacked by Gallagher on numerous occasions in the past, but this time around, Gallagher has chosen an interview with Esquire magazine to be particularly offensive towards Styles.
According to the Daily Mail, it isn’t just Harry and One Direction that Gallagher has attacked. Noel also criticizes former One Direction member Zayn Malik and, in the past, he has dissed stars ranging from Phil Collins to his own brother, Liam. Gallagher says that Harry Styles is boring, talentless, and has “nothing to say for himself” and claims that Harry has neither the talent nor the “spirit” to be a pop star and claims that Styles will be in rehab by the time he is 30.
“Harry Styles has got nothing to say for himself – nothing. ‘You alright, mate?’ ‘Uhhh.’ That’s it.
“I’ll tell you what’s wrong. Fame’s wasted on these c***s today. Does anybody give a f*** about what any of these current pop stars are up to? Who gives a s*** what f***ing One Direction do? C***suckers, all of them in rehab by the time they’re 30.”
Gallagher also had a dig at Harry’s former bandmate, Zayn Malik, by saying that the music industry would be fine for people like Gallagher who can play and work at their craft, but “god help Zayn Malik.” Of course, this isn’t the first time that Gallagher has attacked Styles, One Direction, or Zayn Malik. Earlier this year, Noel branded Malik a “f****ing idiot” for quitting One Direction when he did.
Metro points out that Gallagher previously told Q magazine that he had met Harry and the rest of One Direction at the Olympics in London and said that “their heads were up their a***s, but they’re harmless.”
It seems that Gallagher was certainly in the mood to throw insults around when he did the interview with Esquire. As well as throwing a long line of foul-mouthed insults at Styles, Malik, and One Direction, Noel had plenty of other insults lined up. According to NME, he also threw shade at Adele and Ellie Goulding.
“Who gives a s**t what Ellie Goulding is up to? Really? Adele, what? Blows my f***ing mind. It blows my f***ing mind. Nobody cares! Fame’s wasted on them, with their f**king in-ear monitors and their electronic cigarettes. And their fragrances that they’re bringing out for Christmas. You f***ing dicks.”
Whilst Gallagher clearly is not a fan of Harry Styles or One Direction, he did actually have a good word to say about another artist. It seems that Noel is a fan of Kanye West, and says that he admires West’s “energetic performances.” Mind you, Yeezy isn’t someone who shies away from making his opinion widely known, so perhaps in that respect Gallagher has found a like mind.
It is probably fair to say that Styles and his One Direction bandmates probably won’t agree with much of what Gallagher has to say. However, there is one part of the interview that Harry would be likely to fully endorse. When asked if he had any hobbies, Gallagher said that his hobby was doing interviews. Noel say’s that he love being interviewed because “I get to be a gobs***e, and I get to do that thing, to be the last of a dying breed.”
Gallagher may see himself as the last of a dying breed, but it’s probably fair to say that Harry Styles’ young fans would see him as a washed up “has-been.” What do you think about Gallagher’s comments on Styles and others. Does he have a valid point?
