Kim Kardashian Posts Retouched And Unretouched Kimye Photo
Kim Kardashian just made a major Instagram fail. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star thought it was a good idea to share a cute photo of herself with her rapper husband Kanye West. But Kim’s fans were quick to notice something strange about the photo she posted.
It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian retouches her photos. (More on that later….) But why would the most famous Kardashian sister retouch a photo of herself with her husband? The 35-year-old reality star took to Instagram to share multiple photos from Kendall Jenner’s 20th birthday party. Kardashian even shared this adorable black-and-white photo of herself kissing West’s cheek. But she, or someone on her team, accidentally shared an unretouched version on her Facebook page, along with a retouched one that’s on her other social media accounts. The unretouched photo has since been deleted, but it still lives on in gif form, thanks to some of Kardashian’s crafty fans.

Here is the gif, which shows the difference between the unretouched and retouched photo. You can instantly tell that Kardashian removed the bump from the back of her hair.
In case you can’t tell the difference between the two, the gif shows that Kim retouched her neck and airbrushed her flaws. She even removed some of her flyaways and touched up her chin, so it appears slimmer. Kim’s photo is obviously ridiculously cute and didn’t even need all that touching up. It quickly received over 900,000 likes on Instagram, according to Refinery29. But since Kim’s career has been based off her image and her need to create the perfect selfie, it’s not unusual to see that she feels the need to look flawless in every photo that she shares.
Kim Kardashian skipped the need for maternity wear at Kendall Jenner’s 20th birthday bash. She decided to step out in head-to-toe black sequins, according to a Hollywood Life report. The mommy to be wore a sequined black turtleneck dress with a matching sequined jacket. She completed her chic look with a sleek high ponytail and her contoured face.
If you want your ponytail to look perfect and sleek like Kim’s, know that you don’t have to retouch your photos to get one. Make sure to blow dry and flat iron your hair before slicking it back into a ponytail. Then wrap a small section of hair (preferably 1-inch) around a small elastic band to keep it hidden. Secure your ponytail with bobby pins so that it doesn’t fall out of place during the night.
Kim kept the rest of her look simple by highlighting her face over her contour makeup look. She also had groomed brows, soft brown eyeshadow, faux lashes, and glossy nude lips, according to the celebrity gossip blog. Kim already looked perfect at the party. She definitely didn’t need to retouch any of the photos!
As mentioned before, this is not the first time that Kim Kardashian has been accused of doctoring her photos. When she was best friends with Blac Chyna (way before Tyga started dating Kylie Jenner), she would often share several photos of herself with the video vixen. Kardashian shared this photo of herself with Blac Chyna, which featured a warped door in the background. That caused some fans to wonder if the reality star also altered the size of their assets in the photo. Kardashian’s rep later denied that the photo was altered in any way.
After Kim shared a photo of herself with Kanye, she then shared another photo with her little sis along with the caption, “Happy Birthday to my little Kenny!!!! You’re not a teenager anymore! I love you so much and am proud of everything you have accomplished and the person you have become!” The black-and-white photo of the two sisters has already received 1 million likes!
