Gavin Rossdale Attempts To Get Gwen Stefani Back Amid Shelton Dating Rumors, Stefani Feels Free Since Split
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale recently announced their split after 13 years of marriage, after which reports began surfacing of a possible romance brewing between Stefani and The Voice co-judge Blake Shelton. Initially, these claims were shrugged off as false and ridiculous, yet even this past week, more sources have shared that Gwen and Blake have got something going on.
Gavin Rossdale has taken note because, as In Touch shares, the Bush frontman has been stepping it up to apparently win Gwen back. A source chatted about the attempts by Gavin while also noting that the offerings are all for nothing as Stefani is not going to be swayed towards a reconciliation.
“Gavin is continuing to send Gwen expensive gifts such as flowers, candy and other things to win her back, but those close to her know that he is just wasting his time because, at this point, there is no hope of a reconciliation.”
As previously mentioned, the rocker has become jealous and a bit desperate after hearing the dating rumors that are making the rounds in regards to Gwen and Blake, who also have incredible chemistry on The Voice. The insider made note of this as well.
“Gavin has been spending a ton of money trying to get her back, but it is not going to work. He is so lost without her.”
Gwen, who shot to fame as the frontwoman for the band No Doubt and then went on to a successful solo career as well as heading up a fashion line, filed for divorce from Rossdale this past summer, allegedly due to infidelity. The divorce was reportedly finalized in October, and Stefani has been surging forward since parting ways with her ex-husband.
Whether the rumors of a romance between Blake Shelton and Gwen are true, the source shares that Stefani has, in fact, begun dating other people, which Gavin has not yet fully been made aware of.
“Gwen has already moved on and she is dating other people, but no one wants to break the news to Gavin even though he already surely knows the truth,”
Stefani’s latest single, “Used to Love You,” was released in October and reportedly indicates the emotions that have been tied up in the split from Rossdale. However, the title also makes it unquestionable that Stefani does not have the same affection for her ex as she once did.
As it seems, the split from Gavin has been for the best, both musically and romantically, for Gwen. Gwen spoke candidly about how she feels awakened since parting from Rossdale, during an interview with Us Weekly. The star shared that she “‘felt like [she] had been living in a cocoon, ready to bust out,’ which prevented her from writing and recording new music.”
Stefani went on to explain just how difficult it was for her to find inspiration to write while still in her marriage to Gavin.
“You have to understand how much I couldn’t write. And then all of a sudden, I’m writing, writing, writing.”
While interviewed on 97.1 AMP Radio, as Us Weekly notes, Gwen shared how she has found excitement and positivity from disaster.
“My life is so extreme right now. My life basically blew up in my face. I’m so inspired. Everything just feels new. I just feel inspired. I don’t know how else to describe it.”
Stefani also went on to open up about the way she has dealt with the distressing circumstance of a 13-year marriage ending. The singer and stunning mother communicated that she turns to spiritual exercising to help her cope.
“I’ve been working on my spiritual exercising and like really trying to connect, and be grateful and considerate, and living in the present.”
It appears as though her coping mechanisms are working for the blond bombshell as she’s got a budding romance, a new album ready to drop, and a spot on a hit show since saying her goodbyes to Rossdale.
