Jeremy Calvert Returns To Twitter As Leah Messer Denies He’ll Seek Custody Of Adalynn

Jeremy Calvert has returned to Twitter after weeks of silence. On November 2, Jeremy Calvert shared his first post in nearly one month, in which he spoke of his upcoming winter work.

“Love ordering fr clothing from @ariat for work this winter #winterwork #frclothing,” Jeremy Calvert told fans.

Jeremy Calvert then chatted with a friend about the snow, which would surely soon hit West Virginia, and the surrounding areas, which is where he works as a pipeline engineer.

Jeremy Calvert has been making headlines for the last couple of weeks due to his ex-wife’s latest custody hearing. Last month, Leah Messer, who was married to Jeremy Calvert from April 2012 to June 2015, lost custody of her 5-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, to her first husband, Corey Simms. According to an Us Weekly report, Simms was awarded primary custody of the girls in early October after it was revealed that Messer had been unable to take them to school on time.

“Leah just wasn’t getting them to school,” explained a source. “They were missing and they were tardy.”

While Leah Messer claims she was only late to school once, the magazine went on to allege there were 10 reported tardies or absences in the month of August.

Jeremy Calvert’s ex-wife also alleged in the interview that her daughters, Ali and Aleeah, were miserable living with Simms and his current wife, Miranda, and that Aleeah had threatened to run away from home. Although the girls were used to spending Monday through Friday with Messer and weekends with Simms, the roles of the parents were switched during their custody hearing, much to the dismay of Messer.

“I feel like they should have both of us in their lives,” Jeremy Calvert’s ex-wife explained. “At the end of the day, my kids are going to be happy, and I don’t care what I have to do to make them happy.”

In Touch Weekly was first to report news of Messer losing custody of the twins, claiming last month that Corey Simms “was awarded primary custody, effective immediately” on October 13. “Leah only gets the girls on the weekends now.”

Simms filed for full custody of his and Messer’s twins in 2014 after hearing rumors regarding Messer’s alleged addiction to her prescription pain pills.

“Leah’s really been screwing up since then, so Corey took her back to court. The judge looked at the girls’ school records, which show that they’ve been late for school, and made the change in custody.”

In addition to the magazine’s report regarding Messer’s custody battle with Simms, In Touch Weekly also claimed Jeremy Calvert was considering seeking primary custody of their daughter, Adalynn, 2.

“Everyone is very worried about Addie. She recently wandered out of the house while Leah was distracted. Thankfully, a police officer found Addie and brought her back home… If [Jeremy Calvert] can find [a job] nearby, he’ll go for the same custody arrangement that Corey did.”

Although the magazine’s source claimed Jeremy Calvert was hoping to file for full custody of their daughter, who was born in February 2013, Messer recently said she was confident that wouldn’t happen.

“[Jeremy Calvert] and I, we get along great,” Messer told Us Weekly, according to a report by OK! Magazine last week.

Jeremy Calvert began dating Messer just months after her split from Corey Simms, which was due to her cheating. Then, after marrying the reality star years later, it was Jeremy Calvert who was cheated on. As Messer revealed, she and Simms had an affair in August 2013, just two months after he wed Miranda, and during her marriage to Jeremy Calvert.
