‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 Spoilers — Will Jon Snow And Sansa Stark Finally Meet Again To Take Down The Boltons?

Some exciting new spoilers have emerged from the set of Game of Thrones. In particular, surprising new details have surfaced concerning an epic battle between the Boltons and the Starks as filming for Season 6 continues in Northern Ireland.

According to the Independent, filming in Spain has officially concluded, and now the filmmakers are concentrating their attention in Northern Ireland, where a large set has been built. The set is believed to be where a large and epic battle will take in the series between two families that have a long history together.

In fact, the battle will apparently be fought between forces led by Roose Bolton’s son, Ramsay, and Ned Stark’s son, Jon Snow. Snow’s involvement in the conflict is particularly interesting given the fact that he was killed at the end of last season. This means that fans may get their wish, as Snow will clearly need to be resurrected in order to take part in the fight.

Aside from Snow’s direct involvement, another member of the Stark family has been seen at the filming location. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the hit fantasy drama, was recently spotted in Northern Ireland preparing for her part in the series.

Her appearance on set indicates that she may finally be reunited with Snow, which hasn’t happened since the Stark family members went their separate ways back in the first season. Additionally, Sansa taking part in the battle might mean that Snow is set to rescue her from her captives in the new season. Exactly how this goes down and whether or not Snow is successful in saving his sister is yet to be seen.

That being said, the battle isn’t going to be a happy reunion, as Snow’s fight with Bolton will come with a fair share of casualties. With that in mind, Ramsay was spotted with two bodies hanging on X-shaped crosses at the epic fight. While it isn’t known which characters were on the crosses, they are a sigil of the Bolton family, making it seem as though the fight will be a bloody affair.

Additionally, the battle will also include a giant. The identity of said giant is unknown, but it is likely that the giant is Wun Wun, which should add a little more intensity to the fight. In fact, given all of the players that are set to merge in this epic Game of Thrones battle, the fight might even rival the popularity of the Battle of Hardhome that was featured last season.

Meanwhile, it is not known what the name of the battle will eventually be, but several titles have been thrown around, including the Battle of the Bastards, the Battle of Six Armies, Snow Bowl, and the Battle at Saintfield.

At the same time, Metro is reporting that there will not be any White Walkers at the battle, which bodes well for Snow. However, there will still be plenty of casualties, including the two aforementioned characters. In fact, fans will see the end of two characters during the epic struggle between Snow and Bolton. Although the identity of the characters has not been revealed, it will certainly make the fight one of the biggest things to look forward to in the upcoming season.

At the present time, it isn’t known when the coming battle between Bolton and Snow will take place, but given its importance, it will probably be included later in the season. While we wait for more news to surface concerning this epic meeting of illegitimate sons, Season 6 of Game of Thrones is set to premiere sometime in early 2016 on HBO.
