Ariana Madix Put On Blast By Scheana Marie Ahead Of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Premiere? Plus, Is She Still Dating Tom Sandoval?

Ariana Madix joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules as a friend of Scheana Marie’s years ago, but according to a new sneak peek, their relationship may soon come to an end.

In the latest preview clip by Bravo, Scheana Marie was seen throwing a party for her 30th birthday, and on the guest list was James Kennedy, who chose to bring his girlfriend, Kristen Doute, to the bash. Although Scheana’s relationship with Doute became strained during the third season of the show, Scheana allowed her to remain at the party, much to Ariana Madix’s dismay.

After Ariana Madix struck up a romance with Tom Sandoval, the ex-boyfriend of Kristen Doute, after Season 2, Doute went to war with Ariana Madix, claiming she wished she were dead, and making it her business to prove Sandoval allegedly cheated on her during a trip to Miami. While Ariana Madix’s relationship with Sandoval has remained intact long after Doute’s claims, her drama with Doute has continued, and when she saw Doute arrive to Scheana’s birthday party, she was immediately taken back.

After making her way outside with boyfriend Sandoval, Ariana Madix said she felt like Scheana was being fake, and wondered why she wouldn’t have made Doute leave.

Looking back on the incident during a new interview, Scheana explained her mindset going into the party.

“[Ariana Madix]’s still one of my closest friends and I didn’t feel right inviting Kristen,” Scheana explained to Entertainment Tonight on November 2. “I had a feeling she was going to show up, because [her boyfriend] James invited her, and I’m like, ‘Well, she’s not gonna miss a party.’ ”

Once she heard what Ariana Madix said about her being “fake,” Scheana was hurt, but still, the two women have remained friends, and are often seen together, even when they aren’t filming for the show.

“Those are the things that, you know, normal people in normal lives don’t get to see their friends say behind their back, but we film a television show and then six months later, I’m like, ‘Oh, so that’s how you really feel about me? Tell me more.’ I mean, just because Kristen went in and I didn’t physically remove her from the building, it doesn’t make our friendship any less. It doesn’t discredit anything, and I feel like Tom and [Ariana Madix] are like, ‘You’re either with us or you’re not!’ and it’s, like, I can be with both.”

Katie Maloney, Scheana’s close friend and co-star, also took part in the Entertainment Tonight interview, and admitted to feeling for Scheana since she went through the same type of thing with Stassi Schroeder after she became friendly with Scheana.

“You see [Scheana] said, like, ‘I wish sometimes people would give me a reason not to like them,’ ” Maloney said. “Like, give me a personal reason, and she’s like, ‘Well, I am a reason.’ I mean, that felt very flashback to Stassi last year.”

At that time, Schroeder ended her friendship with Maloney due to Maloney’s closeness to Scheana, whom she didn’t like.

“Like I said, [Kristen] needs to give me a direct reason. She needs to personally hurt me. Hurting you doesn’t hurt me … If Kristen tried to sleep with my husband, that’s a direct reason,” Scheana explained.
