Scheana Marie And Mike Shay: ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Divorce Update

Scheana Marie and Mike Shay don’t appear to be doing well in scenes from the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules. In the trailer, Scheana Marie is seen in tears, sobbing to a friend about her husband’s drinking, claiming he’s been indulging in alcohol more than usual, and in another scene, an addiction issue is discussed with Tom Sandoval.

Luckily, however, Scheana Marie and Shay, who wed during Vanderpump Rules Season 3, appear to be in a much better place as of late.

Over the weekend, Scheana Marie and her husband of just over one year attended a couple of Halloween parties, during which they dressed in a couple’s outfit, with Scheana Marie as Jasmine and Shay as Jafar.

While that doesn’t necessarily mean the couple’s marriage is perfect, it certainly signifies that they are doing well and continuing to work through the issues they dealt with while filming Vanderpump Rules Season 4. After all, if Scheana Marie’s relationship with Shay hadn’t improved since filming, they likely wouldn’t be smiling for photos and appearing as a happy couple in public.

A couple of months ago, prior to the release of the drama-filled fourth season trailer of Vanderpump Rules, Scheana Marie looked back on her wedding during an interview with Colin Cowie Weddings, admitting that not everything was how she hoped it would be.

“I would’ve hired a different coordinator who could’ve done her job,” Scheana Marie explained, according to a report by Bravo’s the Daily Dish. “It was completely chill and put together for months leading up to the Big Day because my mom and I planned the whole thing. Everything was perfect until the day of because the coordinator we hired for that day did not have it together all the way and clearly bit off more than she could chew.”

While Scheana Marie’s wedding came with a few stressors, as fans saw during Vanderpump Rules Season 3, there were also tons of great moments. In fact, there were so many that Scheana Marie was unable to pick just one.

“Top five would be, the first look at each other when I walked down the aisle; our personal vows; the kiss, obviously; our first dance; the father and daughter dance.”

When Colin Cowie Weddings asked Scheana Marie what she would tell other women who were in the process of planning their own wedding, she said, “Just breathe! Remember that this day is all about the love between you and your husband. Nothing else matters!”

In recent photos shared by Scheana Marie on her Instagram account, she and Shay look as lovey-dovey as they ever have, with no signs of trouble. However, there have been questions sent to Scheana Marie in the comments section of certain photos, including one woman’s question, which asked if Shay was suffering from a pill addiction.

While Scheana Marie and her husband have remained silent in regard to any addiction problem, the topic does come up on Vanderpump Rules Season 4, when Sandoval is having a personal conversation with his friend.

Also coming soon to Season 4 is the return of Stassi Schroeder, who previously announced she was leaving the show, and the addition of new girl Lala Kent, who reportedly engages in a relationship with James Kennedy a very short time after his split from Kristen Doute.
