‘Real Housewives’ Star Vicki Gunvalson Losing Business Over ‘RHOC’ Storyline

Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson shocked the viewers last night as she opened up about life with Brooks Ayers during the supposed cancer lie. Brooks didn’t attend the reunion, and he had no desire to talk to the ladies about his illness. But Vicki told her Real Housewives co-stars that she honestly didn’t know whether or not he was lying.

But one thing is clear — Vicki Gunvalson wants this entire season of The Real Housewives of Orange County to come to an end. And she wants people to stop talking about this entire cancer issue. It is no secret that the lies have affected her personal relationships, including the one with her daughter, but she could also be losing some business.

According to a new Radar Online report, Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is now revealing that the cancer story is slowly chipping away at her business. Some people strongly believe that she knew about the cancer being a lie, and they want her to come clean.

“I believed Brooks,” Vicki Gunvalson apparently told Radar Online in an interview after the reunion special was filmed, adding, “I am mad that people are attacking my character because it has a negative effect on my business.”

Gunvalson runs her own business, COTO Insurance. It has been featured on The Real Housewives of Orange County before and it is the business that has made her thousands — if not millions — of dollars. She had the business when she first started filming the show, and she was working out of her home. These days, Vicki has hired several people, including her son, Michael.

Of course, some of Gunvalson’s Real Housewives co-stars believed her daughter, Briana Culberson, over Vicki herself. During the reunion special, Briana revealed that Brooks had hit on her while she was very pregnant with her second child, and he had told her that his nickname was “Girth Brooks.” The ladies believed that Briana had no reason to lie and chose to believe her stories.

“He would do something terrible when my mom was across the room,” Briana revealed on the reunion special, adding, “He even hit on me when I was pregnant at a family birthday party.”

According to the Daily Mail, this Real Housewives star finally opened up about her thoughts on the last installment of the reunion. Many of her co-stars wanted to know if she truly knew that he was faking cancer. And Gunvalson admits that lately, Brooks did seem more suspicious than before. She had no reason to question his diagnosis, and she may never have questioned him if it hadn’t been for Meghan King Edmonds’ persistence.

“My gut is that he does not have it,” Vicki admitted during the reunion according to Daily Mail, adding, “I have seen how he has acted these last two months. I would say probably three months ago I really questioned him and said to him ‘This is not making sense. Why won’t you give me your reports’ and he kept telling me ‘You have no right to take those reports as you will take them to the women’. I said to him that I needed more proof than he was giving me. I need more proof as this is not making sense.”

Vicki may return to The Real Housewives of Orange County next season, but she has revealed that she has no plans of getting back together with Ayers. It sounds like she believes he is lying.
