Vicki Gunvalson Knows In Her Gut Brooks Ayers Doesn’t Have Cancer, Still ‘Covers Up’ For Him

Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson has finally said it: her gut feeling says that her ex-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, does not have cancer, despite his claims of suffering from the terminal illness.

The admission took place during the finale of the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, which is a three-episode special that aired Sunday on Bravo.

In the reunion, the subject of the discussion was focused on Gunvalson and Ayers, who broke up in August.

Gunvalson’s co-stars in the reality show asked her whether the breakup with Ayers still affects her.

Just like in the previous season’s episodes, the 53-year-old star reluctantly denounced Ayers, who she said has not given her proof that he indeed has cancer. On the other hand, she also doesn’t “have any proof that he doesn’t have cancer.”

When asked by host Andy Cohen whether she is afraid of Brooks, she quietly nodded, resulting in a number of allegations from other RHOC stars Tamra Judge and Vicki’s daughter, Briana Culberson.

“I saw him shake her so hard that her head was going back and forth,” Culberson alleged, referring to Ayers’ abuse of Gunvalson.

Culberson, 28, even said that until recently, Brooks has been abusing her mother through text messages.

Despite the absence of proof, Gunvalson remained supportive of her ex-boyfriend, and often covered up for him.

The reality star admitted that she “fabricated” a story in which she called Ayers’ doctor and told him to treat him with an IV because he was allegedly ill.

“I fabricated [the story], because I really was looking for compassion from somebody,” she said.

In spite of the not-so-good results of the couple’s four-year relationship, Gunvalson said she is “relieved” that she is not with Ayers anymore.

The lies and the cover-ups have reportedly caused pain among Gunvalson’s family and friends.

“I’m hurt that I hurt everybody else,” Vicki said during the show. “I want my girlfriends to respect me and love me. I lost that and I’m going to work hard on getting it back.”

However, after Vicki and Brooks’ break-up in August, Culberson said that she and her mom are having a “perfect” relationship in the last two weeks.

Meanwhile, in a separate sit-down with Ayers, Cohen once again asked him about his condition. He answered that his “numbers are normalizing,” and that the lymphatic regions in his body are gone.

However, Heather Dubrow, wife of Terry, whom Vicki called for the made-up medical emergency scenario, said that Brooks did not have pancreatic cancer, but pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas that is treatable and not fatal, unlike cancer.

Gunvalson might be in a pretty sad situation right now, but her long-time friend Judge tried to cheer her up and said that she wanted “Vicki back.”

In the meantime, Lizzie Rovsek, who is also a part of the RHOC, did not attend the reunion, although she had some comments on what Vicki had gone through.

“I honestly feel bad for Vicki and have for the second half of this season,” said Rovsek, who has been on the sidelines this season. She said that her husband Christian is not willing to “share their intimate” moments on screen.

According to Lizzie, it is important that Gunvalson keeps a bunch of loyal people around her to support her. After Briana revealed what Brooks was doing to her mom, it was important for people to help her back up.

After the final episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, the 11th season of the show will air next year on Bravo TV.
