NeNe Leakes Shares New ‘RHOA’ Group Vacation Photo, All Smiles Next To Kenya Moore

NeNe Leakes seems to be enjoying her vacation in Jamaica with the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. On Saturday, NeNe posted a happy photo of herself with most of the other women.

The photo shows Sheree Whitfield, Kenya Moore, NeNe, Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, and Cynthia Bailey standing as a group and smiling for the photo. The photo seems to show that not only is NeNe standing next to Kenya but they also have their arms around one another.

Did Kenya and NeNe actually kiss and make up during the vacation? Kenya and NeNe have been at odds with one another ever since Kenya joined the show in the fifth season. On the seventh season, Kenya and NeNe continued to feud with one another. Yet Kenya has also tried to find common ground with NeNe and move on from their disagreements. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, on the season 7 reunion show, after NeNe broke down upon talking about her mom, with whom she has an estranged relationship, Kenya told NeNe that they have more in common than she would like to admit.

“NeNe, I think that you think we’re all against you. We have our fights, we have our arguments, things are said and you feel like we don’t like you, we don’t love you but we don’t want to be at that same place with you. We want to move on. I think, hearing your story right now, we have a lot more in common than you want to even admit…We’re very strong women. I think we know that about each other. And when I met you NeNe, I didn’t, I didn’t come for you. I didn’t come in like, ‘Oh I’m about to take over, this is my thing.’ We had, I thought, a really nice start to a friendship, whether you want to admit to that or not.”

This doesn’t necessarily mean that viewers won’t see any drama on the Jamaica vacation. NeNe Leakes’ hashtags for the group photo, “#Theoriginalone #OG,” which reminds everyone that she considers herself the top dog of the Atlanta housewives, may have been included as a reminder to the other women of their place on the show. NeNe’s proclamation that she’s “the original one” may have been directed at Kenya Moore in particular, since Kenya has in the past said that NeNe, despite her proclamations, is not the queen bee of the show.

In a statement to People in June, NeNe said that she has made the decision to leave the show to pursue other opportunities. She admitted that some of the other housewives are probably happy to see her gone.

“I think some of the girls will be happy. They always felt like I was the star, and they were never able to really shine with me there, so here’s their opportunity to shine.”

NeNe also told People that she’ll probably “pop up and play with those girls every now and then.” On Wednesday, she revealed that she has already returned to play with the housewives. She posted a photo of herself standing on her hotel room balcony in Jamaica, where the cast, with the exception of a pregnant Kandi Burruss, is currently filming the eighth season. Her inclusion of the show’s name as her hashtag made clear that she has returned to film some scenes.

She followed that photo with another photo showing her about to go to dinner with the other ladies. This photo also shows actress Kim Fields, who will be seen on the show as a starring housewife, and some of the women’s significant others.

On Thursday, OK! Magazine published photos of NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey out on a double date with their husbands, Gregg Leakes and Peter Thomas. NeNe and Cynthia had a falling out after season 6 and the end of their long friendship was a major story line on the seventh season. Perhaps viewers will see them reconcile, or at least agree to move on from their feud with one another, on the upcoming season? Season 8 premieres on Sunday, November 8.
