Olivia Culpo: Tim Tebow Is Reportedly Getting Serious With New Girlfriend, Could Be Headed Toward Marriage

Olivia Culpo and Tim Tebow still haven’t made their relationship official, but reports indicate that the couple is getting very serious and could even be on track for marriage.

The former NFL quarterback has been linked to the former Miss USA for several weeks, dating back to reports in September that they were spotted together. Though they have not gone public yet, sources close to the couple say they are moving things along very quickly.

“Tim’s super into her,” an insider told Us Weekly. “It’s very new, but he thinks she is a goddess. He’s very attentive and writes her sweet notes all the time.”

The 23-year-old Culpo made her name on the pageant circuit, winning the Miss Universe title in 2012. She also gained fame as the girlfriend of singer Nick Jonas, and the two dated for about two years before breaking up earlier this year.

While Olivia and Nick were a very high-profile couple, she and Tim Tebow are trying to keep things a bit quieter.

“Tim and Olivia are dating but trying to keep out of the public eye as much as they can,” a source told E! News, exclusively. “Olivia had a hard time after the break up with Nick Jonas but took time for herself and focused on work and is in a great place now.”

“She is very open to getting to know Tim and exploring the chance of something more with him,” the source said. “She is really attracted to Tim’s personality. They are having a great time with each other and are looking to spend more time once the football season slows down. Olivia is excited whats developing as they get to know each other more.”

Culpo has a strange connection in her dating life. Both Nick Jonas and Tim Tebow have been open about their religious faith and desire to remain chaste until marriage. While Jonas appears to have stepped away from his days of wearing a chastity ring, Tebow appears to be more solid in his beliefs.

Tebow is still very active in his faith, including missionary work in the Philippines. In an interview with People magazine last year (when he was named one of the Sexiest Men Alive), Tebow said he only wants to date someone who has the same passion for service that he does.

“Of course I want to look nice and have a good appearance, but more than the outer shell, I want people to want to be around me for my heart,” he told People. “To me, it’s especially important to have a heart for kids who are hurting. Being able to make a difference is something that people should love, and that’s something that’s sexy about people.”

Tebow’s commitment to his faith and his serious approach to dating has led to some speculation that he and Olivia Culpo could be headed toward marriage, but without even an official confirmation of their relationship that seems a bit premature.

Much has been made of Tim Tebow’s romantic life in recent months. Earlier this year he was connected to Jana Duggar, the eldest daughter in the 19 Kids and Counting family.

“He’d be a great addition to the family,” joked Ben Seewald, who is married to Jana’s sister, Jessa Duggar.

But later reports indicated that Tebow and Jana Duggar were not dating, and in fact had never even met.

It seems that no matter what his relationship status, Tim Tebow will have a lot more time to devote to Olivia Culpo. His hopes of an NFL comeback were squashed when he was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles, and it seems that no other teams have an interest in bringing him back, meaning his playing career is effectively over.
