Lady Gaga had a pretty rough concert last weekend in New Zealand. The “Telephone” singer was hit in the head by a prop piece while performing “Judas” on stage. Gaga finished the show despite suffering a concussion. The singer tweeted a photo today showing just how badly she was injured from the incident.
“Emerging from hours of sleep… Still remiss if I should go outside, with this clonker I may be of questionable styling…. Thank you so much for all the thoughtful messages. I feel a bit woozy but a little better everyday. Very happy to be in beautiful Australia.”
A video from the concert (you can view it here) shows Lady Gaga bending over to pick up a prop while singing “Judas” on stage. While bending over, a male backup dancer accidentally clocks Gaga in the head with a set piece. Gaga staggers off stage but soon returns to perform 16 more songs.
“I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don’t you worry, I will finish this show.”
Here’s the photo of Lady Gaga’s bruises. Do you think she should have cancelled the concert?
