Taylor Swift’s Gift To A Little Girl Battling Cancer

Taylor Swift just made a special little girl — another “Taylor” — very happy.

Taylor Rayburn is a 6-year-old girl battling a rare form of cancer, and when little Taylor’s mom, Allison, heard that Taylor Swift was coming to perform in Atlanta, she knew she had to do something special for her little girl. And, indeed, there were many surprises for little Taylor, including meeting her idol.

According to Today, it was little Taylor’s birthday in June, but it was in April that she was diagnosed with a Stage III Wilms’ tumor — a rare kidney cancer affecting children. She’s already undergone surgery to remove the tumor and one of her kidneys, so having Taylor Swift come to town was the best present ever.

In another Facebook post, Taylor’s Mom, Allison, wrote, “Dreams really do come true!”

According to the International Business Times, Taylor Swift has dated some pretty high-profile guys, including Zac Efron, Taylor Lautner, one of the Jonas Bros, John Mayer, and the late Corey Monteith from Glee. In 2012, she was even linked to Harry Styles from One Direction.

Speaking of One Direction, it seems that, like many people, Taylor Swift is a big fan of One Direction’s new song titled “Perfect,” and according to Hollywood Life, the song was inspired by her.

It turns out that October 16 was a very good day in the music world. One Direction released their new song “Perfect” and, according to Hollywood Life, Taylor Swift is a huge fan of this hot new track because she knows it’s all about her.

“Taylor isn’t coming out and bragging that the song’s about her, but the word is she’s happy about it. It’s a great song, why wouldn’t she be?”

It’s common knowledge that Taylor briefly dated singer Harry Styles in late 2012. Whether this does or doesn’t have anything to do with it, you can’t deny that this is a great song. Once you’ve read the lyrics and listened to the song, you’ll understand why Taylor loves it as much as the world seems to.

On Wednesday evening, October 21, in Greensboro, North Carolina, Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert hit the stage together on Taylor’s “1989” tour, according to Fox News.

Taylor Swift is always happy to return to her country roots, and last week she did it in grand style, assisted by a very special guest — Miranda Lambert. The pair sang “Little Red Wagon,” Lambert’s hit song from her smash album Platinum.

Taylor Swift told a cheering crowd at her “1989 World Tour” concert in Greensboro, “Make some noise guys because Miranda Lambert is here.”

Of course, this is not the first time Taylor has welcomed a country singer to the stage during her “1989 World Tour.” The Band Perry, Sam Hunt, and Dierks Bentley have all sung with her onstage.

The Taylor Swift “1989 World Tour” wraps up in the United States on Halloween, but it resumes a few days later in Asia.

Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania, to parents Andrea and Scott Kingsley. Taylor was raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 14 to pursue a career in country music.

According to IMDb, Taylor Swift has some interesting nicknames, like Tay, Tay-Tay, and T-Swizzle.

Taylor Swift fans will recall that her first debut single from her 2006 album was actually titled “Tim McGraw.” According to E! News, nearly 10 years later, the love between these two is still entirely mutual. E! News asked Tim McGraw if and when he plans joining Taylor as he has yet to be seen on stage during her “1989 World Tour.”

Tim McGraw, who is Faith Hill’s husband and dad to three teenage daughters, said, “We’re big fans of her at our house.”

“I sang with her onstage a few years ago when she came through Nashville, but we’ve been missing each other all year. We want to see her show – I want to see her show, my wife wants to see her show. It’s running out of time – we gotta go check it out.”
