Kaitlyn Bristowe Adds Speaking To Her Resume: ‘Bachelorette’ Star Has Powerful Message

Kaitlyn Bristowe has kept a low profile since getting engaged on the Bachelorette finale. Bristowe listened to many former Bachelor stars, who were splitting up. Some rushed into the spotlight too fast, including Juan Pablo Galavis and Chris Soules. Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell quickly went on Couples Therapy and revealed that their relationship was not as many expected. Plus, Chris Soules went on Dancing With The Stars and his engagement to Whitney Bischoff fell through.

But, Kaitlyn Bristowe is spending quality time with Shawn Booth and the two appear to be going strong. They have traveled quite a bit and seem to be planning their future. The two got engaged earlier this summer, and they are already moving in together. The two could be planning their wedding, but Bristowe has something else brewing. She will now become a professional speaker.

According to a new Vancity Buzz report, Kaitlyn Bristowe will now be speaking at the TEDxVancouver event, which is expected to take place in November. The former Bachelorette star was added to the list this week alongside Egyptian-Canadian journalist and now UBC professor, Mohamed Fahmy.

Now, many are probably wondering what Kaitlyn Bristowe would speak about at such an event. Bristowe will be speaking about her Bachelorette experience, focusing on the online bullying she experienced after sleeping with Nick Viall. Kaitlyn has revealed that she got caught up in her romance with Nick, and that the hookup should not have happened. Now, she has become a face of the online bully victims and she wants to share her thoughts about her experience.

“Kaitlyn is an ambassador for self-acceptance in light of a backlash of cyberbullying that resulted from her expressive – sometimes controversial – behaviour … She offers a unique perspective on the unwavering popularity of the reality genre, and how to overcome adversity in the public eye,” reveals the report.

Other speakers include Dan Eisenhardt, Scott Jones, Jackie Huba, Esther Honig, Matthew Williams, Dan Sutton, Garth Webb, Lara Boyd, Janet Moore and Duane Elverum, Marina Adshade, John Herdman, and Chin Injeti. More speakers are expected to be announced as the event approaches. The event is currently scheduled for November 14 in Vancouver. In addition to Kaitlyn speaking at this event, the event is setting a record; it is the largest TEDxVancouver conference in history. In previous years, the event was held at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, which is a much smaller venue.

In other words, Bristowe won’t be talking about her upcoming wedding to Shawn Booth. According to InTouch Weekly, the couple told E! News that they could be planning for a wedding next year. They have yet to set a date, but they could be looking at dates in 2016. As Booth explains, they are traveling so much and doing so many interviews and appearances that they don’t have time to plan a wedding. But, their romance is blossoming.

“It’s real, it’s genuine, and every day we learn more about each other. She’s an amazing person and she’s 100% wife material,” Shawn Booth has revealed about Kaitlyn, adding, “We’ve actually probably spent no more than 4 hours apart from each other since the finale. We’ve been with each other every single day since then.”

Many former couples from the Bachelor and Bachelorette franchises have split, so Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth may be the new darling couple. Chris Harrison is often thrilled with couples who make it. Shawn and Bristowe could become the new Sean and Catherine.
