Are Scheana Marie & Mike Shay Getting Divorced? ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 4 Hints At Trouble In Paradise

Scheana Marie and her husband, Mike Shay, have been married for just over a year, but sadly, it appears that their newlywed bliss came to an abrupt end during filming on the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules. According to a series of sneak peeks, which are currently airing on the Bravo network, Scheana Marie was at odds with Shay during production due to his heavy drinking.

“He’s just been drinking, like, so much lately,” Scheana Marie says through tears in the trailer clip.

“You’re addicted to pills,” Scheana Marie’s co-star, Tom Sandoval, tells Shay in a second clip as he is seen breaking down.

Although a pill addition was brought up in the sneak peek, it’s unclear whether or not Scheana Marie’s husband truly has an addiction problem, or whether Sandoval was commenting on one potential situation. It is also unclear whether or not the issue was addressed with any sort of rehab or treatment program during the season.

In a separate scene of the Vanderpump Rules trailer, Scheana Marie’s boss at SUR Lounge, Lisa Vanderpump, spoke of the situation with Scheana Marie’s husband, telling a friend, “He needs to get clean. He needs to take responsibility for the fact that he’s married this girl and he needs to get his sh*t together.”

In another sneak peek, which isn’t yet available online, Scheana Marie is seen crying as she asks Shay why he married her.

While things don’t look good for Scheana Marie and Shay in the preview clip, it appears safe to say they do not get a divorce during season 4 — or after the show wrapped. Just last night, October 28, the happy couple was spotted together on the red carpet in Los Angeles, where they posed for photos together and with their co-stars during the Vanderpump Rules season 4 premiere party.

In photos shared by the Daily Mail on October 29, Scheana Marie smiled as she showed of her wedding ring, and stood beside her husband.

Scheana Marie tied the knot with Shay in July 2014, and one year later, Scheana Marie admitted not everything was perfect.

“I would’ve hired a different coordinator who could’ve done her job,” Scheana Marie revealed to Colin Cowie Weddings, via the Daily Dish, in August of this year. “It was completely chill and put together for months leading up to the Big Day because my mom and I planned the whole thing. Everything was perfect until the day of because the coordinator we hired for that day did not have it together all the way and clearly bit off more than she could chew.”

During her wedding, Scheana Marie was joined by the majority of her co-stars, including Lisa Vanderpump, Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, and Katie Maloney. Although Stassi Schroeder was going to be a bridesmaid, the two women had a falling out before Scheana Marie’s wedding arrived, and Schroeder was removed from the guest list.

As for what her favorite moment of her big day was, Scheana Marie said, “I can’t just pick one. Top five would be, the first look at each other when I walked down the aisle; our personal vows; the kiss, obviously; our first dance; the father and daughter dance.”
