In the case of Inside Out, a synopsis is given about the movie and how it relies entirely upon just five emotions. The trailers are meant as a way to poke fun at the central premises of films, often revealing spoilers that are amusing to people who have already seen them.

The new Inside Out Honest Trailer is one of many that have been released through the Screen Junkies social media sites. Other films that have received the Honest Trailer treatment include Jurassic World, The Martian, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. They have even done topical films, like Back to the Future for its 30th anniversary. The Inside Out box office numbers indicate the film has now brought in just over $842 million in ticket sales for 2015. This includes just over $355 million in the United States and about $487 million in foreign markets. Among the recognizable voices that starred in the film are that of Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Black.

Additional box office numbers for Inside Out make it the second-highest-grossing Pixar film of all time. The $355 million in the U.S. trails only the $415 million brought in by Toy Story 3. It’s also the seventh-highest-grossing animated film of all time. That list is headed up by Shrek 2 at about $441 million and The Lion King at about $423 million domestically.

On the overall scale, the Inside Out box office is No. 29 all-time. It’s also the second-highest-grossing film for 2015, though the gap is quite massive. While Inside Out brought in about $355 million domestically, Jurassic World has earned just over $651 million so far. That puts Jurassic World as the third-highest-grossing film of all-time. The top two films are Avatar ($760.5 million) and Titanic ($659 million).

Called Riley’s First Date, it includes the boy that she meets at the end of the film and deals with the emotions that come from going on her first date.

The popularity of the film has been very substantial, and it will certainly have a lot of buzz when the upcoming Oscar nominations are revealed. Halloween 2015 will likely also see a lot of kids dressed as the characters, as costumes are on sale at many stores. With the release of the Inside Out Honest Trailer and all the additional internet buzz the film is receiving, it could spur renewed interest in seeing a theatrical sequel being released.
