It's amazing how gossip about Adam possibly or not possibly being a backstage diva still ends up being a diss on Kris Allen's win. Why don't you just come right out and say that “someone” from Kris's camp orchestrated the rumour to make Adam look bad? Isn't it possible that maybe there could be even a little bit of truth behind the 'rumour'?

Well, this seems to be 100% the opposite of what all the other contestants have been saying about Adam. Also, with the judges and the rude TMZ videographers, he has always been totally gracious.

To me, this is bs.

Is this the same reporter who said that similar “insiders” had reported that Adam and Kris hated each other and fought constantly? And we found out that that was complete bs as well, huh?

Adam is so popular that everyone want to ride on his coattails. The writer has become so desperate that she wants to have so many hits on her site. I've heard that the MSBNC article was written by a Clay Aiken supporter. So it doesn't surprise me that her article is baseless. Adam's co-Idol and the production staff loves him. So does the Idol producers. Nice try.

That is assuming, of course, that Kris CARES whether or not he's in the headlines over Adam. From what I've seen on TV, Kris Allen seems unlikely to crave the limelight while Adam thrives on it. I could see the makings of a diva in Adam Lambert. But can anyone really blame him? Blame the media and American Idol, not Adam Lambert. If someone tells you often enough that your $hiit don't stink then you'll pretty much start believing it.

Why does everyone assume it's a lie? Adam Lambert seems like a nice enough guy so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. But it could also have been a bad day and whatever he said or did, this person blew it out of proportion.

The author of the article is very lucky to have a job…….spreading this kind of utter nonsense..Always be leary of statements that come from “insiders”…….who are faceless and nameless……..Ah…could that be because they are spewing complete BS………and are perhaps envious of this charismatic man who always steals the show????? Actions speaks louder than words….and Adam always conducts himself like a pro…….and was the most well mannered contestant throughout the competition. Duncan Riley……you suck.

The “rumors” about Adam's attitude are completely false. Made up by an MSNBC “Gossip” Reporter who never liked him when he was on the show. Funny how she doesn't name any of the “sources” who claim Adam was rude during the press junket in New York City. Well, one journalist who did interview Adam there was willing to go on the record after he read these lies. Michael Slezak of Entertainment Weekly says “I can't speak for other media outlets, but Adam was absolutely delightful when he visited the Idolatry set. Heckuva nice guy!”.

LOL Somebody is seriously jealous. That is absolutely the most ridiculous article so far. What a bunch of B.S. There has not been so much as one hint that the guy is anything but gracious in ALL circumstances. I know I could never be remotely as nice as he is always even with the people that look for ways to put him down. That article is completely fabricated. Fortunately Adam is a believer in positive energy, and that sort of stuff just rolls right off of him. Idol producers and staff love him…why do you think they all wanted him to win? Yes, he is the most talented by far, but in addition he's just a good person with a great attitude.

More likely, this was a reporters attempt to get noticed with a baseless gossip column. Two anonymous sources, and a generic comment from a nameless producer who was probably asked a “What if” question. MSNBC should be ashamed for print this kind of gossip. You should be clearer about the lack of any real news here — it's just gossip.

this is totally BS. The dude is so cool and super-nice to everybody. I've never seen somebody so patient and so calm. We all know how the press is treating him, all the paparazi crap in his day to day life but he never snapped once. He is very respectful and considerate of others. Even fellow contestants admitted on how great guy he is, how he helped them and encouraged them all. I think this is BS, big time! Somebody is trying to sabotage his career.

Wow this reeks of desperation! When anyone writes about Adam they get an internet hit.

It flies against the massive number of comments about how sweet he is.

And its FLAKY reporting from MSNBC – they should at least get a picture of Adam throwing a telephone at Kris before they publish such stuff.

I don't believe this for a second. Adam was infinitely polite and kind-natured throughout the AI show. He has been extremely courteous with interviewers during and post-AI. He is fun and interesting. He is smart and savvy too. I really doubt he has been rude or demanding at all. He seems genuinely nice and decent. He is a real diplomat. Stay cool, Adam. You have tremendous support from your fan base.

An unnamed source told me recently that Kris Allen spit on and killed an American Eagle with his bare hands before throwing the limp carcass at President Obama on a recent trip to D.C. This is as reliable and newsworthy as the piece of crap journalism from the gossip columnist at MSNBCs gossip section. She should be fired and you should follow her for reporting the same garbage.

It's not so much that I don't believe that all of it is wrong, it's the way it came out. It screams orchastrated attempt to take him down. Obviously I don't know whether any of it is true… but the delivery….

Sandy… let me say given that you didn't get it: I'm actually on your side. read that last paragraph. Everyone else ran the story, I ran it and said that in the end, it was because Adam was more popular. Couldn't be more of a Lambert fan than that! And yes: from day one (check the archives) I've been a big Adam fan

That's what I think too. There is something very “off” in the delivery of those quotes. I'm not naive — everyone has bad days and we've all on occasion been rude to someone at some point, whether or not it was intentional, and I'm sure Adam is not a saint 24/7 either. But those quotes are just so obviously bogus. I mean, just look at them: “Everyone” … “from fans right down to the lighting folks …” ? Everyone? Seriously? It's like someone was trying to cover all their bases in making him as nasty and unpleasant as possible, and it's practically the polar opposite of what I have read about him from reliable (i.e. NAMED) sources. Then there is the “quote” from the fictitious producer who says that “no one” sells that many records “to get away with that kind of behavior.” No one? Really? No one? I could fill several pages with names of musicians who are notoriously rude and difficult to work with, yet that hasn't hurt their album sales. That quote seems to insinuate that Adam is even WORSE than the WORST. Yeah, right. I call B.S. on this little news item, and shame on MSNBC for publishing it in the first place. I'm just waiting for that crappy site to publish their next hot gossip item: That Adam kicks puppies and pushes old ladies down the stairs.

Isn't is possible that maybe there could be even a little bit of truth about the idea that it has been done to make Kris look better?
