Tamra Barney’s Daughter Sidney Reaches Out After Reunion: Daughter Is Furious With Her

Tamra Barney had no plans of opening up about her custody struggles on the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion special. Tamra filmed the reunion a few weeks ago, and fans are eagerly waiting for the second part of the three-part reunion special. Many called the first part very tame, but Barney opened up about some custody issues. As it turns out, her oldest daughter, Sidney, hadn’t talked to her in almost two years.

It was clear that Tamra Barney was completely heartbroken about this outcome, and she shared several tweets and Instagram posts about her broken heart. Tamra really wanted her daughter to know that she still loves her very much. And while Barney may have expected to hear from Simon Barney over the revelation, she may not have expected to hear from Sidney herself.

According to a new Radar Online report, Tamra Barney is now learning that Sidney reached out to her on social media. Sidney posted a long Facebook message from her personal account to her mother’s very public Twitter account. In the post, Sidney explains that she is disappointed with her mother for discussing their private issues on the show. She believes that Barney only talked about the custody issue for the sake of money.

“At this point, I think it is necessary to tell the truth since she does not know how to tell the truth,” Sidney wrote in the post, adding that “the reason I do not live with my mother is not because of my dad, it is because [Judge] is mentally/verbally abusive and not a mother to me.”

“For the past two years I’ve been asking her to stop treating me badly, to stop doing embarrassing and talking about me on the show, and to not use my siblings and I as storylines,” Sidney wrote in the post, adding, “Clearly she hasn’t followed through with anything that would have made me go back to her house. If she really wanted me back in her life, she would have taken responsibility and changed two years ago when I told the first time what was causing our relationship to suffer.”

“I love you more than you know,” Tamra simply revealed on Twitter, and she didn’t respond to the accusation that she was now using Spencer as a storyline on the show.

Sidney is currently living with her father, Simon Barney. It is no secret that Simon and Tamra’s split was messy, and the divorce played out on television. Tamra was heartbroken for the sake of the kids, and she did break down on the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion after the split. But Sidney says that Tamra was quick to put all of the blame on Simon and not taking any responsibility herself.

Of course, Simon Barney also watched the reunion special and was quick to call Tamra names. He shared a quote on Twitter, revealing that he felt she was a narcissist. It is possible that both he and Sidney watched the reunion special since she is almost 18-years-old.

“A narcissist’s weapon of choice is often verbal — slander, lies, playing the victim in flipped tales of who was the victim and who was the abuser, gossip, rage, verbal abuse and intentional infliction of emotional pain,” the post read from Simon, concluding, “This is why narcissists are so often called ’emotional vampires.'”

Tamra has yet to address her daughter’s post, but it sounds like she is rather hurt by everything that has happened between them.
